MGBIC-02 Reference Sheet The MGBIC-02 is a full-duplex copper SFP interface device that can be installed into most Enterasys Networks devices that support Mini-GBICs. Notes: Check the documentation of your host device to determine if it supports the MGBIC-02. At the time of release of this document, the MGBIC-02 is supported in: • Matrix N3, N7, and E7 DFE Series modules • Matrix E1 Series devices • Matrix C1 Series devices For the MGBIC-02 to be recognized via the firmware in the DFE modules, that firmware must be version 3.00.xx or higher. For the MGBIC-02 to be recognized via the firmware in the Matrix E1 WS/GWS/GDS, that firmware must be version 2.06.01 or higher. In earlier versions, data transfer is fully supported.
