Overview This document describes the procedure for installing a ferrite choke.
CAUTION All supplied ferrite chokes must be installed following these instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory rules.
Installation Install the ferrite choke on the power cable that attaches directly to the modem. Use Figure 1 and the following procedure to install the ferrite choke onto a cable. 1. Open the ferrite choke. 2. Position the ferrite choke as close to the power connector as possible. 3. Close the two halves around the cable and snap the ferrite choke shut, pressing down on the plastic latch to secure it in place. 4. Add a tie wrap as shown to prevent the ferrite choke from slipping down the cable.
