Robust Mechatronics Large format 3D printing and the 3DP1000™ from 3DP Unlimited™ is enabled by robust, industrial strength mechatronics from PBC Linear®, providing the ability to print large parts, up to 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 500 mm, as well as precision grade pieces with layer resolutions down to 70 microns.
3D printing technology enables the use of custom optimized bracketry designed for ease of assembly and long term maintenance.
The pre-engineered alignment and structural rigidity built into the SIMO® Series linear actuators from PBC Linear® provide 3DP with a solid backbone for the core XYZ gantry of the printer.
The torque and agility of the Constant Force™ anti-backlash lead screw and nut, allow for the quick start, stop, and change of direction required for 3D printing that can reach down to precise layer resolutions of 70 microns.

Stepper motors with integrated amplifiers from Applied Motion Products® allow heat to be dissipated out from under an enclosure while simplifying wiring and eliminating multiple connection points.
Carriage features sideadjustment access, to easily optimize bearing preload and simplify maintenance.
The 3DP1000 is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications in industrial design, rapid prototyping, product development, automotive design, building and naval architecture, custom props, sculptures, stage sets, artistic development, and much, much more. It can be utilized not only for creating one-of-a-kind large prints, but also as a production platform printing multiple parts at the same time on the oversized print bed. You can learn more about the 3DP1000 and see real world samples of its large print capabilities by visiting www.3DPUnlimited.com.

MULTIPLE MATERIALS The 3DP1000 printer is capable of printing any material (3 mm spools) which is created for Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF).
Specifications Printer Type: FFF – Fused filament fabrication is an additive manufacturing technology commonly used for modeling, rapid prototyping, and production applications. Build Area: 1 meter x 1 meter x 0.5 meter (39.3" x 39.3" x 19.6") Layer Resolution: Down to 70 microns (0.0027") Note: Accuracy is dependent upon slice settings, geometry, print speed, filament quality, and a range of other factors. Under average conditions, it is typical to hold layer resolution of 100 microns with a well-tuned and calibrated printer configuration.
Material Compatibility: The 3DP1000 printer is capable of printing materials which are created for Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), including but not limited to PLA (Polylactic Acid), ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), PC (Polycarbonate), Nylon, Ninja Flex, PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) and HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene). Note: Some materials may require increased bed and nozzle temperatures, as well as additional ventilation.
Filament Diameter: 3 mm (0.118") Standard Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm Connectivity to Laptop: USB Non-Standard Options: Consult factory for non-standard options such as dual extruder, enclosure system, and other special requirements.

RECOMMENDED SOFTWARE • Repetier Host & Slic3r www.repetier.com; www.slic3r.org Repetier Host is free, open source software used to operate your 3D printer – with controls for temperature, speed, flow, and movement. It includes an interface with Slic3r, which is used for processing files, cutting a model into horizontal slices–called layers– generating tool paths to fill them and calculating the amount of material that will be extruded. Open source, no cost. or • Simplify 3D www.simplify3d.com Simplify 3D is an easy-to-use program used to import, repair, slice, preview, and print all from the same application. This a simplified alternative to other programs. Available for purchase. Note: Repetier Host and Slic3r are used in conjunction and can be downloaded simultaneously from the Repetier Host website. Simplify 3D is used singularly to manipulate files and operate the printer.
