Description of Tested Device(s) The "nRF2788 - Wireless Microphone TX" unit is a part of a reference design from Nordic Semiconductor ASA; nRFready Microphone Reference Design. The nRFready Microphone Reference Design Kit is a complete hardware and software reference design for a dual 2.4 GHz RF wireless microphone set. The Kit includes two microphone boards (nRF2788) and one receiver board (nRF2789 - Wireless Microphone Dual RX). The two nRF2788 units tested are called Mic_Blue and Mic_Red in this report

The nRF2788 is tested only for output power and spurious emissions. The radiated measurements are performed keeping the nRF2789 unit behind the measuring antenna to establish communication between EUT(nRF2788) and nRF2789. The radiated measurements are tested on three axis.

Manufacturer statement : The microphone sends for 570us on one arbitrary channel and it waits about 2430us before it moves to another channel. Then it will transmits on 5 channels before it comes back to the first channel. It takes about 3000us*5. This means the total time for each is 570us/(570us+2430us+3000us*5)=570us/(3000us*6) Duty Cycle Correction Factor = 20 log(570us/(3000us*6)) = -30dB
