DRIVERLESS SCREENS CONFIGURATION SKM-04 enables users to configure the display topology configuration of their system that can be easily activated through simple keyboard hotkey commands or through RS-232 commands. No more hassle to install drivers on computers just to configure the screens’ topology or enable multi-head display mode switching.
SEAMLESS MOUSE SWITCHING
SmartAVI’s new PASS (Progressive Automatic Screen Switching) technology allows seamless switching between computers by moving the mouse cursor from one display to another. With PASS, users can effortlessly switch computers for faster productivity.
MULTI-HEAD DISPLAYS KM SWITCHING OPERATION The SKM-04 allows up for numerous displays to be used with its four connected computers. That means multiple multi-head computers can be managed with no drivers required. Users can connect up to four 8-head computers, for example, or up to four quad-head computers, and so on. When using computers with multiple displays, SmartAVI developed a new feature called Mouse Gesture Switching technology which allows switching between computers through the use of simple mouse clicks and gestures. Simply press the scroll wheel twice and then move the mouse in the direction of the channel you desire to switch.
INDEPENDENT USB 2.0 and audio SWITCHING The USB 2.0 Hub on the SKM-04 may be used for USB 2.0 devices such as printers, web cams, flash drives, and so on. Devices plugged in to the USB 2.0 hub of SKM-08 may be switched independently from the keyboard and mouse user control via hotkey or RS-232 commands. With this feature, users can use keyboard and mouse on one computer while other devices are independently connected to another computer. 1
