Important instructions, abbreviations
Important instructions – Observe our "Hardware for Sliding Doors and Windows" product information. – The size ranges specified on page 1 apply for the SIEGENIA-AUBI PSK PORTAL 100 KF PLUS hardware. Furthermore, the specifications provided by the profile manufacturers or system owners also apply, especially any information regarding possible restrictions on sash dimensions, sash weight and lock spacing. Observe any special manufacturing specifications or processing guidelines explicitly. The specifications given for screw-in speeds and torques must be adhered to. – If the parallel sliding tilt element is subjected to excessive strain, the sash can, in the worst case, jump and fall out of its guide and, in doing so, cause serious injuries. If the parallel sliding tilt element is expected to be subjected to excessive strain due to being closed with force (use in schools, nursery schools, etc.), appropriate measures must be taken to prevent this from happening, for example: – moving the stop bracket to reduce the opening width or – installing a lockable handle to prevent unauthorised use. If there is any doubt, be sure to consult with your SIEGENIA-AUBI sales consultant. – The steel fittings specified in these assembly instructions are electro-galvanised and then finished using a special technique. They are not suited for use: • in damp locations • in environments where the air contains aggressive, corrosive components • in environments where the air contains salt Please contact your SIEGENIA-AUBI sales consultant in such situations. – Select your complete set of fittings only from the SIEGENIA-AUBI range of fittings. Otherwise, damage could occur, for which we accept no liability. – All fittings must be properly mounted as per the description on pages 11 to 20. Do not overwind the screws. – The parallel sliding tilt elements may be surface treated before the fittings are assembled only. Treating the surface at a later stage can reduce the functional capacity of the fittings. We are not obligated to honour the warranty in such cases. – When inserting blocks, be sure to observe technical guideline no. 3 published by the German Association of Trade Guilds for the Glazing Trade [Glaserhandwerk], entitled "Blocking glazing units" [Klotzung von Verglasungseinheiten]. – Never use acid cure sealants as they may cause the fittings to corrode. – Keep the sliding bump (on the running rail) and all rebates free from deposits and dirt, especially from remnants of cement and plaster. Avoid exposing the fittings directly to water and do not let cleaning agents come into contact with the fittings. – Attach the instruction label (sliding direction DIN left or DIN right) to the integrated parallel sliding tilt sash in a clearly visible location. The instruction label is located in the "Krt. Laufwagen PSK 100 PLUS". Bitte den passenden Aufkleber ablösen und gut sichtbar am Parallel-Schiebe-Kippflügel anbringen. Please remove suitable sticker and affix it in a clearly visible way to the sash of the installed parallel-tilt-sliding unit. Retirer l´auto-collant pertinent et le placer bien visiblement sur le vanail coulissant.

Insert corner drives (12) into the fitting groove (ensuring you adhere to the correct positional arrangement) and tighten. Cut the gear (24) and the linkages (23 and 25) to length, insert into the fitting groove and tighten. Note: Always insert the linkages (23 and 25) (lettering FFH, etc. overhead) in the opposite direction to the direction of closing. Also insert the gear (24) in the opposite direction to the direction of closing – with sz. 1a, 2 and 3, locking cams below the handle position.

Screw the tilt stay (6) to the sash 155 mm from the sash edge. Clip on cover caps K (11).

Tightly screw in bogie wheels V (2) at the front and bogie wheels H (3) at the rear. Centre supporting piece L (22) for cover rail L (13) and screw on. Attach connecting rod (14) to bogie wheels V (2), mark it at the marking of bogie wheels H (3) and cut to length. Insert connecting rod (14) into bogie wheels H (3) and clamp with hexagon socket screw (torque of 10 - 11 Nm). For this use hexagon socket head wrench SW 4. Insert connecting rod (14) into bogie wheels V (2). Fix (secure) bogie wheels H (3) in the closing position. Observe parallel position of bogie wheels V and H (2 and 3). Also clamp connecting rod (14) in bogie wheels V (2) with a hexagon socket screw (torque of 10 – 11 Nm). After the sash frame has been mounted into the window frame (see page 20), snap on cover rail L (13) and slide on cover caps L (7 and 8). Note:

Inserting sliding sashes
Hinging the stay arms
A Snap stay arms (6) into the tilt position.
Place the sash frame on the running rail (17) (at an incline) and snap the coupling bolt of the stay arms into the slider (4). Confirm that the snapped-in coupling bolt is secure by pulling briefly on the stay arm! B Secure stop bracket (18). To do this, slide sash into the desired final position and tighten stop bracket (18) with hexagon socket head wrench SW 4 to a torque of 4 – 4.5 Nm. C Check that all fittings work. Use the adjustments if necessary.

Unhinging the stay arms
If necessary, the locking effect of the tilt stay and the height of the parallel sliding tilt sash can be adjusted after the glass panes have been fitted. The locking effect of the tilt stays can be adjusted with the SW 4 hexagon socket head wrench. The height can be adjusted at the front (2) and rear (3) bogie wheels with the SW 8 hexagon socket head wrench. The bogie wheel height adjustment (+4/–2 mm) is self-locking. Note:
