The number of controlled power outlets can be extended up to 40 by cascading up to 4 Secure Power Switch Satellite (PSE518SA-xx) models. On, Off and Restart functions 8 to 40 power outlets can be turned On/Off or restarted over IP or through an RS-232 serial connection. Two separate AC Power Inputs This feature enables the use of 2 power inputs sources (UPS for example) to provide servers with redundant power supplies. It improves the security and increases the total current load. Twin Mode This mode allows to group the outlets 2 by 2. A pair of power outlets can be controlled in one shot. Ideal for servers with redundant power supplies. Access rights: up to 40 user accounts The server access is protected by names and password. The administrator has access to the Power Switch Twin Plus configuration and the control of all power outlets. He also specifies the user access rights for the control of 1 to 8 power outlets. IP Security 8 security masks are used to grant or deny access to one specific IP address or to a group of IP addresses.
