GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electrical shock, fire and/or serious personal injury. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WORK AREA • Keep your work area clear, clean and well lit. Cluttered work surfaces and dark areas invite accidents. • Keep people not involved in the work, especially children away from the work area while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control of the tool. • Do not operate power tools in an unsafe environment such as explosive atmosphere, flammable liquid, gasses and dust. A spark created by a power tool may ignite the fumes or dust. ELECTRICAL SAFETY • Double insulated tools are equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other.) This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If it does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not fit fully, contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized receptacle. Do not modify the plug in any way. Double insulation eliminates the need for the three wire grounded power cord and grounded electrical system. • Avoid body contacting with grounded surfaces such as radiators, pipes, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electrical shock if your body is grounded. • Do not operate power tools in the rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool increases the risk of electrical shock. • Do not stress the power cord. Never carry the power tool by the cord or disconnect the plug from the receptacle by yanking on the cord. Keep cord away from sharp edges, heat, solvents and oil. Replace damaged cord immediately. Damaged cords increase the risk of electrical shock. • Use outdoor extension cords when operating the power tool outside. Outdoor power cords are marked “W-A” or “W” and are rated for outdoor use. These cords reduce the risk of electrical shock. PERSONAL SAFETY • Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep long hair in place and contained. Keep clothing, hair and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry and hair can be snagged in moving parts. • Use common sense, stay alert and watch what you are doing while operating a power tool. Do not use tools while under the influence of alcohol, medication, or drugs. Keep focusing on the work at hand while using a power tool to prevent personal injury. • Make sure the power switch is in the “OFF” position before plugging it into the receptacle. This will prevent accidental starting. Carrying tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in the tools with the switch in the “ON” position invites accidents. • Remove adjusting tools such as wrenches or keys before turning the tool on. A wrench or key left attached to a rotating part will fly off and may cause personal injury. • Do not overreach while operating a power tool. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Good balance and solid footing enables better control in unexpected situations. • Always wear appropriate safety equipment. Always wear eye protection while operating a power tool. Use appropriate dust respirators, hearing protection, hard-hat, face shield or safety shoes as dictated by the work and tool. TOOL’S USE AND CARE • Secure the work piece with clamps or other practical methods to provide a secure work platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body is not secure and may lead to loss of control. • Use the correct tool for the work. The proper tool will do the work faster and safer. • Do not use the tool if the “ON/OFF” switch is not working. Operating a tool that cannot be controlled by you is dangerous and must be repaired before use. • Always disconnect the power cord from the electrical receptacle before storing the tool, making adjustments or adding/replacing accessories. This simple prevention will reduce the risk of accidental starting of the tool.

Store the tool in a secure place out of reach of children. A secure storage location will prevent the unauthorized use by untrained users. Properly maintain tools. Keep all cutting tools sharp and clean. Remove contaminants from the tool and keep clean. Check for broken parts or binding of moving parts before use. If damaged, have the tool serviced before use. Prevent accidents caused by poorly maintained tools. Use only accessories recommended for your model. Accessories suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on another tool. It is extremely dangerous to point the cutting surface toward any person.
SERVICE • Tool service, mechanical and/or electrical is to be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service performed by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury. • When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions may create a risk of electrical shock or injury. SAFETY RULES FOR THE TILE SAW 1. Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when cutting in areas where the blade may come in contact with hidden wiring or it’s own power cord. Contact with live wiring will cause non-insulated parts of the saw to become live and if touched, shock the operator. 2. Do not start the saw with the blade touching any surface. The blade action will cause kickback, which can result in injury. 3. Allow the blade to come to a complete stop before putting the saw down. A moving blade can come in contact with something and cause the saw to bounce or turn which can result in material or bodily damage.

CONTENTS This package contains: ● 1 Marble/tile saw with water tube and hose attachment ● 1 Diamond blade 4-1/2” x 7/8”(bore) ● 1 Socket wrench ● 1 Box wrench ● 1 instruction manual Check the tool and accessories for damage, which could have occurred during transportation. USAGE TIPS ● Always cut one tile at time. ● Be sure motor has reached full speed before starting to cut tile. ● Let the saw blade run freely for a few seconds before cutting a piece of tile. Switch off immediately and disconnect the power supply if it makes an unfamiliar sound or vibrates excessively. ● The directional arrow marked on the blade should correspond with the rotation direction of the motor. ● Ensure that the blade-securing arbor and collars are tight. ● Let the blade come to a complete stop before removing any jammed or cut off material from around the blade area. ● Never allow the continuous rim blade to run dry. Failure to keep the water on it will result in possible over-heating of the diamond blade and a poor cut of the tile. Caution: This tile saw is designed for cutting tile and marble, not for metal, wood or plastic. All other applications are expressly excluded.
OPERATION OF SAW Diamond Blade Installation and Removal Warning: Before installing or removing blade, turn off the power supply. Failure to do so may result in accidental starting of the tool which may cause serious injury. ● To remove the diamond blade, grip outside flange with box wrench, place socket wrench on spindle bolt and turn socket wrench clockwise (Figure 1). Remove spindle bolt, outside flange and blade. Do not remove inner flange (Figure 2).

● To re-install, fit the blade supplied onto the motor shaft . ● Fit the outer flange and spindle bolt. ● Tighten the spindle bolt by gripping outside flange with box wrench, place socket wrench on spindle bolt and turn socket wrench counter clockwise. Do not over-tighten! Trigger Button (On-Off) The tool can only be put into service if both the Lock Off button and the trigger are depressed. Depressing the trigger turns the tool “on”. Releasing the trigger turns the tool “off”. The Lock Off button will automatically lock in the “OFF” position when the trigger is released, preventing any unintentional operation. Depth of Cut ● Loosen Adjustable Cutting Depth Wing Nut on Base Plate (Figure 3) ● Hold the base plate flat against the edge of the tile and lift the body of tool until the blade is at right depth. ● Secure the base by tightening Adjustable Cutting Depth Wing Nut.
0-450 Miter Cut ● Loosen 0-45 Locking Knob (for bevel cuts) ( Figure 4) ● Tilt the body of saw until the required angle is reached ● Tighten the Locking Knob to secure the base plate Changing the Blade When the blade is worn out, it should be changed as described in the procedure in “Diamond Blade Installation and Removal”. Water Valve Adjustment ● Regulate the water volume by turning the water control to the left or right. ● When turning the valve to the right (toward the opening of the water hose), the water outlet will be fully opened and when turning it back to the left, it will be fully closed. ● Amount of water flow is adjusted by turning the water control valve rather than at the source of the water. Cutting the Tile ● Mark the desired cutting line on tile surface, ensure the tile material is securely clamped or stationary and horizontal. ● Put the base plate on the tile without touching the blade.

● Hold the tool firmly and turn on the tool. Don’t allow the blade to touch the material until it has attained full speed. ● Slowly and smoothly move the tool forward to cut, keeping the base plate flat on the surface. CAUTION: Don’t forget to open the water value to let the water flow onto the surface of the blade while you start cutting the tile material. The volume of water can be adjusted with the water valve. ● Keep the tool moving forward smoothly and evenly until the cut is complete.
TROUBLE SHOOTING Warning! For your safety, make sure saw is OFF and unplug saw from the power source before performing any troubleshooting procedures. 1. ● ● ●
The motor unit is too hot: Turn off the saw and let it cool down to room temperature. Check and clean the cooling vents on the motor housing. Make sure nothing is binding the blade and the blade is appropriate for the material being cut..
2. ● ● ●
Motor stops running: Verify power cord is fully connected. Check power source voltage is 120V. Check carbon brushes for worn or defective parts.
MAINTENANCE Caution: For your safety, turn off switch and unplug saw from the power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning. If the power cord becomes damaged in any way, replace it immediately with an approved cord. When cleaning the saw, DO NOT expose the motor to direct water. If excessive water is introduced into the motor, electric shock and/or damage to the motor can occur. Periodic maintenance of your saw allows for long life and trouble-free operation. The cutting residue that the saw generates could be considerable. Follow these recommended maintenance steps: ● Wipe, brush, or vacuum the tile debris, grit and dust from the saw housing, base plate, blade and depth guide thoroughly after each use. ● Inspect the diamond blade for it’s overall integrity. Check the rim for wear or damage. ● Never use water or any other chemical liquids to clean the electrical parts of the tool. ● Use a soft cloth to clean the water and dust on the tool. ● Keep the ventilation slots of the motor clean. Replacing Carbon Brushes ● ● ● ● ●
Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly. Replace when the carbon brushes have worn down to about 1/4” (6mm) or less. Keep the carbon brushes clean for free movement in the holder. Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use screw driver to remove brush caps, take out worn carbon brushes, insert new ones, and secure the brush caps.
