Model 472-002 Centra-Page Permanent Indoor 2-Party Station General Information This data sheet applies to the GAI-Tronics Model 472-002 Centra Page Permanent Indoor Station, which is used for paging and party line communications in a Centra-Page system. Centra-Page features centrally located electronics for environmental protection for components and unitized amplification for easy maintenance. When installed in accordance with control drawing 72979, the station provides intrinsically-safe operation in Class I, Div. 1, Groups C and D hazardous areas. The station is equipped with a push-to-page handset and party line selector. The Model 472-002 Permanent Indoor 2-Party Station includes a metallic housing measuring 3.12 W × 5.12 H × 7.38 D inches and an angle bracket for wall or desk-edge mounting. Like other Centra-Page stations, it operates in conjunction with a plug-in Line Card PCBA housed in the central cabinet card rack assembly. The line cards are sold separately. The card contains the handset dc power source, dual-switching relays, and a 16-watt speaker amplifier with 8-ohm and 70-volt line outputs.
