If in any doubt about the installation or use of this product, consult a competent electrician. 1 Ensure mains supply is switched off before commencing work. 2 Safety note! The power supply cord must not be exposed to mechanical damage. 3 Disassemble the fitting base from the fitting. 4 Mark appropriate fixing position on the ceiling or wall, please note that the fixing centres are 390mm. 5 Before drilling establish the direction of buried cables and other building services. 6 Drill holes in the ceiling or wall and insert wall plug. 7 Introduce supply cables into the hole on fitting base. 8 Fix fitting base on the ceiling or wall, ensure it is secure.. 9 Connect supply cables to the terminal block: Brown wire to L, Blue wire to N, Yellow/Green to E. 10 Refit metal plate to base by screwed and ensure that it fits securely. 11 Attach diffuser to fitting base.
