SAFETY INSTRUCTION ● Read manual carefully before use ● Do not open the case and touch internal components for safety and warranty ● Pull out power plug in case of long time standby .Do not use faulty power plug or power supply to avoid fire or electric shock . ● Do not touch power supply with wet hands ● Handle with care when pulling out power plug, no touch with the wire ● No flammable or liquid allowed into device ● Do not install device in hot area or strong sunshine or dusty place . ● Shock-proof is a must ● Room with good ventilation is required ● Keep original packing material for future possible transportation 2. SYSTEM DIAGRAM AND WORK PRINCIPLE 2.1 SYSTEM DIAGRAM QAM Modulator consists of following modules: ●Data process unit converts all inputs signal into standard signal and process .These data will be further processed by QAM modulation. ●QAM Modulation unit modulates the TS into spectrum signal. ●RF modulation up-converts the IF into 87~870MHz TV channels. ●CPU/LCD/LED/ is for controlling the equipment and input order to equipment. 2.2 WORKING PRINCIPLE QAM is compliant with DVB-C standard. Device convert QAM signal to mpeg-2 TS, then can be processed by QAM modulation. It includes technology such as convolution, RS correction .After IF process, the output will be RF 87~870MHz which can be transmitted in HFC or MMDS network. It is widely used in digital TV head end system, data broadcasting, VOD, internet, TV conference etc. 3 FEATURES ● QAM Mode 16QAM、32QAM、64QAM、128QAM、256QAM ●Output port : 4 QAM adjacent carriers (DVB-C/QAM) on single RF port F type ●Input port : Gigabite Ethernet ●Input bit rate range :1.5~840Mbps ●Input sockets: 32 IP multicast over 32 different IP (Unicast or multicast) addresses or ports ●Output bit rate range :2~56Mbps ●Output signal bandwidth (BW) :1.15~8.05MHz(rolling factor 0.15) ●Output data symbol rate range :1~7Mbaud/s ●RF range :87~860MHz ●RF output level :85dBuV~105dBuV( step possible) ●4 way TS multiplexer ●PCR correction ●PDF filtering ●super cache-buff ●PSI/SI editable ●4 way Simulcrypt scrambler with 4 different CA systems simultaneously ( 4 separate ECMG and EMMG conections ●RF test port ●Alarm error display ●LCD display local control of all parameters ● Ethernet port, remote control possible using NMS 4 SPECIFICATIONS 4.1 DATA PORT 4.1.2 Input data Port: IP 1000mbps TS over IP 4.2 RF PORT 4.2.1 RF OUTPUT PORT Connector: F-head Impedance: 75Ω Output frequency: 87MHz~870MHz Output return loss: ≥15dB Output level:85dBuV~105dBuV( adjustable) Carrier suppression: >55dB SNR(out band ): ≥50dB 4.2.2 RF TEST PORT Connector: F-head Impedance: 75Ω Output level: 65dBuV~85dBuV(adjustable) 4.3 SIGNAL ENCODING Modulation: QPSK, 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM, 256QAM Channel encoding: DVB RS encoding Modulation error rate (MER): ≥40dB SNR(out band): ≥50dB 4.4 NETWORK INTERFACE Ethernet port: IEEE802.3 ETHERNET PORT, RJ45 PORT Protocol: UDP 4.5 POWER FAILURE AUTO SAVE Automatically save when the power fails 4.6 POWER SUPPLY Voltage 90V~250VAC; Frequency 50Hz; Power consumption 25W 4.7 WORK TEMPRATURE Environment 0*C~50*C Storage -25*C~+55*C Humidity 10~75% 4.8 MECHANICAL FEATURE 44.5mm (H,1U)×483mm(W,19″)×410mm(D) 4.9WEIGHT 5.0 kg 5.
