The Smart-e 4K-1:3 is a 1 in and 4 out HDMI splitter with a selectable input and 3 selectable output options compatible with the 4Kconnect range of modules. Transmit a single high resolution 4K HDMI signal together with Ethernet, RS232 and IR over a single 100m CAT6 cable to 3 displays Each selectable output bay can accept either a native HDMI module 4K-HDMI-I/O or a Cat6 transmitter module 4K-HDBT-TXF. A native HDMI output allows for a local display connection without the need for a Cat6 receiver whilst a Cat6 transmitter allows for a remote screen connection up to 150m away. The input bay can accept either a native HDMI module 4K -HDMI-I/O for a traditional splitter configuration or one of the 3 receiver modules, converting it onto a transceiver. This extremely flexible approach means the unit can be re-purposed at any time from a transmitter to a receiver by swapping the appropriate module. Each module position supports full HDMI digital video and embedded audio, with compatibility for HD 720p, 1080p, Ultra HD 2K and 4K resolutions together with pass through support for EDID, HDCP, CEC and control protocols. Each bay also allows for full duplex RS232, 100baseT Ethernet and reverse path IR. An external power supply will also provide inline power to the receiver units. Up to 5 units can be cascaded together to create a multitude of solutions. The 4Konnect range from Smart-e is a family of digital extenders and matrices using standard CAT 6-8 STP cable to transmit 4K resolution signals over long distances

MODULE SELECTION 4K-HDMI-I/O - HDMI input/output module (TX & RX) The HDMI-I/O module is designed to provide a native 4K HDMI connection. A 3.5mm jack socket is also available for infrared connection via an emitter (LED) or receiver (EYE). The module can be used in both an input or output bay 4K-HDBT-TXF - HDBT Full transmitter module The HDBT-TXF module is capable of transmitting high resolution video (4K, 2K & 1080p) over 150m of Cat6 cable by implementing the full HDBaseT chipset Infrared pas-through together with bi-directional RS232 and CEC are also available through the same connection giving flexible control options. A true 5-Play module includes 100baseT Ethernet connectivity whilst capable of receiving or delivering remote power (POH). An internal communication link provide status monitoring of all units that are interconnected. 4K-HDBT-RXL - HDBaseT Lite input module (RX) The HDBT-RXL module is capable of receiving high resolution video (4K, 2K & 1080p) over 70m of Cat6 cable by implementing the HDBaseT Lite chipset. Infrared pass-through together with bi-directional RS232 and CEC are also available through the same connection giving flexible control options. The module capable of receiving or delivering remote power (POH) whilst an internal communication link provide status monitoring of all units that are interconnected. 4K-HDBT-RXF – HDBaseT Full input module (RX) The HDBT-RXF module is capable of receiving high resolution video (4K, 2K & 1080p) over 100m of Cat6 cable by implementing the full HDBaseT chipset. Infrared pass-through together with bi-directional RS232 and CEC are also available through the same connection giving flexible control options. A true 5-Play module includes 100baseT Ethernet connectivity whilst capable of receiving or delivering remote power (POH). An internal communication link provide status monitoring of all units that are interconnected. 4K-HDBT-RXE – Long Reach (Extended) mode input module (RX) The HDBT-RXE module is capable of receiving high resolution video (4K, 2K & 1080p @ 8-bit) over 150m of Cat6 cable in Long Reach mode. Infrared passthrough together with bi-directional RS232 and CEC are also available through the same connection giving flexible control options. A true 5-Play module includes 100baseT Ethernet connectivity whilst capable of receiving or delivering remote power (POH). An internal communication link provide status monitoring of all units that are interconnected.
