Video recording / standby indicator Accessories Micro USB cable Micro USB car charger Mount Memory card Memory card reader Functional operation Installation Easy to install onto any windshield, and the 12V charger will fit any vehicles 12V outlet. Charging: A. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery Two methods of charging the Dash Cam. One way is through the supplied charger, and the second method is by using the supplied microUSB cable using your computer. B. connect 12V car charger When powering on your vehicle, the unit will automatically power on. When you power down your vehicle, the Dash Cam will take up to 5 seconds to power off and automatically save the previously recorded file. Note: You must only use 5V output voltage. It is recommended that you always use the original charger, as it was designed to work with your Dash Cam. Some vehicles have constant 12V power flowing from the 12V outlet. In this case, you must long press the power button on your Dash Cam to shut it down. Video mode When the Dash Cam is powered on, it enters Video mode. If the unit has a TF memory card inserted, it will automatically start recording. When the unit is recording, the green indicator light will blink. If the green indicator light is solid, the unit is not recording and is in standby mode. Emergency lock While the unit is recording, you can press the MODE/SOS (5) button to lock the currently recording file. Locking a file will make it un eligible to be recorded over during the looping procedure. Photo mode While recording is stopped, short press the MODE / SOS button one time. This brings you to the Photo mode. While you are in Photo mode, the OK button is the snapshot button. Browse and delete files Power on your unit, stop the recording and hit the Menu button. This will bring you to the menu options. Use the up and down buttons to navigate the first menu option, and use the screen toggle button to change menus. Video settings 1.1 Video mode: 1920 x 1080p 30fps | 1280 x 720p 60fps | 1280 x 720p 30fps | 640 x 480 30fps 1.2 Video quality: Super fine and Fine 1.3 Movie clips: 25min, 10min, 5min, 3min, 2min, 1min, and off. 1.4 Motion detection video: 5 Seconds ,10 Seconds (The default), 30 Seconds and 1 Minute 1.5 Sound recording: On (Default), Off 1.6 LDWS: On, Off (Default) (Lane Departure Warning System) 1.7 FCWS: On, Off (Default) (Front Car Warning System) 2. Photo settings 2.1 Image size: 2M (default), 1.2M, VGA 2.2 Image quality: Super Fine, Fine 3. Card Setup 3.1 Format card: Yes, No (The default) 3.2 Card information: Displays how much video time you would have with the different resolution options that are available. This option also shows you the number of Photos you can take with each specific resolution setting. 4. system settings 4.1 Beep: On (Default), Off 4.2 Volume: shows 0,1,2,3,4,5 (default), 6,7,8,9,10 bars, the greener bars, the louder the unit’s sound will be. 4.3 Clock settings: Use the up and down buttons 4.4 Date format: none, YYYY MM DD | MM DD YYYY | DD MM YYYY | 4.5 Stamp: Date + Logo (Default), Date, Logo, off (When off is selected, video will not show time. 4.6 Language select: English (Default), Español, Português, Русский, Chinese Simplified and traditional Chinese, Deutsch, Italiano ,Latviski, Polski, Română, Slovenč 4.7 Frequency rate (flicker): 50 Hertz (Default), 60 Hertz 4.8 Automatically turn off the screen: Off, 1 Min (Default), 3 Min (Note: Screen OFF will not work if the FCWS or LDWS is active.) 4.9 LED Fill light: On, Off (The default) 4.10 Protect Level (G-Sensor): Off, 0,1, 2 (default), 3, 4 4.11 Parking Monitor: Off (Default) High, Middle, Low 4.12 Motion detection: off (Default) Low, Medium, High 4.13 System reset: Yes, No (The default) 4.15 LDWS Calibration: Manually calibrate perspective lines. 4.16 Firmware version: displays the current firmware version Download file Remove the TF Card, insert the memory card into the memory card reader, insert reader into USB port on your computer. Find the storage device in which the files reside, copy and paste the files you would like to download onto your computer. AV-OUT Video / Audio output 2.5MM Headphone to RCA plug is used to connect your Dash Cam to any screen that supports a RCA input. Considerations 1. Please insert TF card before powering on the unit. The Lux can accept up to a 64GB Micro SD Class 10 card. Some card brands will not work in Dash Cams, please consult our Knowledge-base for compatible cards. You can purchase compatible cards here :http://www.getdashcam.com/shop/ 2. Please use the included microUSB Car charger for powering the Dash Cam, the car charger included 12V-5V Adapter.
