50 Ohm Connector ICM Antenna Solutions (Law Enforcement, Mobile Radios) ICM's newest connector (DB58UHF) is designed for use on RG-58 coaxial cables providing a simple and fast solution for 50 OHM, UHF antenna applications. The floating pin, non-blind entry allows the installer to simply place the center conductor (114 X 114 prep) into the rear mounted pin and push the assembly to the top. The Double BubbleTMCompression Tool (CPLCRBC-B) draws the nickel plated, solid brass ferrule tightly around the cable without disrupting the dielectric. This provides excellent holding strength and the best electrical performance available.

The DB58UHF connector eliminates the need to use crimp-on style or soldered connectors. These connector types have performance problems like signal ingresslegress and minimal cable pull-out strength. The one-piece compression design reduces installation time and eliminates loose pins and sleeves.
