The DTL Broadcast Mini-Gear 5001HS is an intelligent, next generation, HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI converter with the world’s most advanced features. This handy unit prepares you better for the practicalities by removing the uncertainties when converting HDMI to SDI as it incorporates audio and video signal monitoring via an array of LED indicators and a signal status display. This DTL Broadcast Mini-Gear 5001HS is all about quality, from manufacture to operation. In our experience cheap HDMI converters do not always do what is required and when this happens, a great deal of time can be spent diagnosing a problem which can often be more costly than the unit itself. It is for this reason that our units alert you to potential errors and allow you to check video signal format, resolution and audio parameters such as audio level. This converter automatically detects the input signal, transparently providing a pixel to pixel transformation to SDI. The original input format and frame rate are preserved at the output unless selected as YUV 422 or RGB444 signals via a DIP switch. Audio content on the HDMI is transparently and automatically passed through the unit permitting better audio quality. The respective embedder provides both AES and SPDIF audio insertion. This product incorporates a dip switch to select either audio meters or the output video resolution on the LCD display. The signal quality is outstanding and exemplified by accurate waveform, vector display and eye pattern.
