The PowisPrinter® lets you add dazzling foil titles to the spines of your books. If you are tape binding documents, the PowisPrinter® is the perfect addition to your office. When a document is on the shelf, its spine becomes its most important asset. The PowisPrinter® prints with seven colors of foil. Use the 11 built-in fonts via the printer’s keyboard (included, except in Japan) or connect the printer to a computer to use your own fonts and logos. You can design titles with three orientations (horizontal, vertical, and stacked), and type sizes from 8 points to 84 points. Spines are divided into three zones (top, middle, and bottom), and you can use different type styles, sizes, and orientations in each zone on the same strip.

Use the PowisPrinter® separately or streamline your workflow in combination with the Fastback® 15xs, and the Fastback® 11 binders. Infrared sensors detect the width of the document in the binder and automatically adjust the font sizes to fit the spine for optimum readability. The PowisPrinter exit chute is designed to feed spines automatically into the Fastback binding machine.
