Palettes Palettes are a non-tracking database of spot parameter values, channel intensity values, and scroller frame values. Sabre supports 999 Palettes. Palette information for spot parameters is stored per spot type. Example: Cyberlight spots and Superscan Zoom are selected in the editor and have parameter value assignments. Any Palette stored will contain values for Cyberlight spots and Superscan Zoom fixtures. The information stored for a spot type can be applied to all spots of that type. In other words, if the Palette contains information for Superscan Zoom the information can be applied to all Superscan Zoom fixtures in your rig. Spot types reference the ID number included in the spot definition in the Mix Output menu. Different fixtures can share Palette information if the fixtures have the same ID number. Example: Two different fixtures that use CYM color mixing can share color Palettes. In the Mix Output menu/Define Device assign the same ID number to the two fixtures. Channel information is per channel and scroller information is per scroller channels. Example: storing a Palette from the editor. The editor is: channel 1 – 6 @ 80%. Scroller channels 101 – 106 at scroller frame 12. Therefore the Palette can be applied to channels 1 6 and 101 106. Palettes are stored and retrieved using the NSKs in Palette mode or using the numeric keypad. Palettes are stored with the show file and in a separate Palette Only file. Palettes may be loaded independently of show files. 11.1 Programming a Palette If more than one of a spot type is in the editor, the parameter values of the first spot number of that type are stored in the Palette. Controllers 8.1 When the editor contained spots appearing in red and spots in white, assignments to controllers assigned the spots displayed in red and cleared the spots displayed in white. Now the spots displayed in red are assigned to the controller and the spots displayed in white remain in the editor. To assign the entire editor to a controller, press [ENTER] (so all of the spots are displayed in white) before making the assignment. 8.2 Under LTP when the controllers had the same priority different memories were assigned to 2 controllers - [MEMORY #] [SOFT]. A Go command was given to one assignment and then a Go command was given to the second assignment. Press [GO] again for the first assignment caused the memory to jump in instead of fading from the current output. Now it always fades. 8.3 Freeing a chaser from a controller caused x/y values to jump to zr and then a fade to the values on A/B. This does not happen anymore. 8.4 The text for a memory with an Effect assigned to a controller did not appear on the LCD display. 8.5 Memories with Effects in Q-Lists assigned to controllers did not work correctly. This is now fixed. 9. 9.1 Copy Using [SPOT] [•] after the copy function selected the source spot for copy instead of the target spot (the last spot selected). This does not happen anymore. 10. Crossfaders 10.1 When fading to a memory using the sequence [MEMORY #] [GO TO] the fade took place in the memory time instead of 1 second. This is now fixed. 10.2 If [HOLD] was pressed for C/D when there was no assignment, the LED blinked. If, in this situation, an assignment is made to C/D it is impossible to fade the assignment manually. This does not happen anymore. 10.3 In certain situations, pressing [GO] on A/B corrupted a group assigned to a controller. This does not happen anymore. When the incoming memory had Cut as Time-out, the crossfade was not executed correctly. This is now fixed. 10.4 10.5 [HOLD] did not work while Delay time was running. Now it works.
