The SY-HS14 is an HDMI splitter that allows the user to repeat a single HDMI or DVI source to 2 displays simultaneously. It is compliant with HDMI 1.4 & HDCP1.4 and supports all HDMI and DVI resolutions up to 4K & 1080p 3D. The SY-HS12 will automatically recognize the resolution and HDCP compliance status of the input signal. The input signal is automatically equalized for SY-HS14 reliable transmission and with proper EDID Management. The SY-HS14 can be used in a variety of applications, such as monitoring, conference room, large-screen displaying, digital signage, television, education, command & control centre, smart home etc.

4K HDMI Splitter Description HDMI input port (left most) connects with a HDMI or DVI source device such as DVD/ Blue-ray HDMI output ports, connect to HDMI displays, automatically capture the input resolution Power socket, plug a DC 5V power adapter into this socket and tighten the screw.
System Connection System Diagram The following diagram illustrates typical input and output connections for the SY-HS14:
Connection Procedures Connect a HDMI/ DVI source device (e.g. Blue-ray DVD) to the HDMI INPUT socket of SY-HS14 with HDMI cable. Connect HDMI displays to HDMI OUTPUT sockets of SY-HS14 with HDMI cable. Plug a DC 5V power adapter to the power port of SY-HS14. Note: 1.
All the ports support hot-plug detection. Be aware that hot plugging a display may result in a splash screen on the display.

HDMI signal contains both HDMI video signal and embedded audio signal (PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS-HD), while DVI signal contains solely video signal.

SY-HS14 is capable to switch input signal format according to the displays. For example, when the input signal is HDMI and the display can only support DVI signal, SY-HS14 will switch the signal into DVI format.
EDID Management SY-HS14 comprises 1 HDMI input port & 4 HDMI output ports, EDID management helps in distributing and routing signals from the source at the resolution of the first detected display (detecting from output 1~4). For example: when output 1 connects with a 1080p display, SY-HS14 will select 1080p as output resolution and distribute 1080p signal to displays connected to output 1~4. Note: If the displays connected to output 2~4 don’t support 1080p signal, there will be no output on the displays.

Repair of the equipment should only be carried out by qualified professionals as these products contain sensitive devices that may be damaged by any mistreatment.

Only use these products in a dry environment. Do not allow any liquids or harmful chemicals to come into contact with these products.

Due to the weight and physical size of some of these matrix switchers, correct Manual Handling and Lifting procedures should be observed at all times while handling these products in order to minimise the risk of injury.
