Connect wirelessly to your computer via USB adapter. Attach any capability switch and replicate the left mouse click. Great for using with single switch access software. Works with Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8; MAC OS X or later; Linux; and Chrome OS. Purchase Interface separately and use your own switch or buy our set which includes a Pancake Switch along with the Interface. Interface size: 4¼"L x 2½"W x 1½"H. Requires 2 AAA Batteries. Weight: ¼ lb. Operation: 1. The Wireless Computer Switch Interface requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Use Alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. The battery compartment is located on the back of the unit. Slide the battery compartment cover off. Install 2 AAA size batteries into holder. When installing new batteries, always be careful to observe battery polarity. Replace battery cover. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together. 2. Next plug the included USB Nano receiver into any USB port on your computer. Press the red ON/OFF switch down on the top of the interface box. A red light will illuminate through the power indicator porthole on the front of the interface. There is no software for you to install. Your computer will automatically install the proper drivers for the interface. Please Note: When you are finished using the interface turn the power switch to OFF to prevent battery drain. 3. This interface is designed to work with a single capability switch and will replicate a left mouse click (Windows & Linux) when the user activates their switch. It will not move the mouse cursor for them. This interface can be used with single switch access software or with the help of a teacher, therapist or parent using a second mouse to do the cursor movements for the user. Then allowing the user to click on the selection with their switch. 4. Plug your capability switch into the 1/8 inch input jack on the top of the interface. Make sure you plug your switch all the way in. There should be no gaps. You can now use your switch as noted in operation No. 3. Troubleshooting: Problem: The interface fails to operate, or operates incorrectly. Action #1: Check the AAA batteries. Action #2: Make sure that you have the USB Nano receiver plugged in to your computer properly, and your capability switch is plugged into the interface all the way, there should be no gaps in the connection. Care of the Unit: The Wireless Computer Switch Interface can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit. Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components. Rev 5/14/15
