The ATS-5120 is designed to compensate the charging voltage of Manson PV charge Controllers and Lead Acid Battery Chargers. The ATS-5120 is an integrated circuit temperature sensor, sealed in Epoxy to the copper sensor lug. It has a sensing temperature range of minus 40°C to 100°C. The sensor IC has a sensor gain of 10mV/degree Centigrade and it is calibrated with the temperature compensation circuit of our PV Charge Controllers and Battery Chargers at 25°C at the rate of 20mV per degree °C change. A rise of temperature of 10°C will decrease the charging voltage by 200mV and a decrease of 10°C will increase the charging voltage by 200mV.
Installation Mount the lug through the battery negative terminal, screw on the bolt and nut assembly of battery terminal tightly to ensure good and tight contact. Alternatively , the sensor lug can be mounted on side of battery with adhesive tapes. Insert the stereo plug into the PV charge controller or battery chargers.

With Manson Products Mount the probe onto the battery terminal and insert the stereo plug to the PV charge controller and Lead-Acid Battery Charger.
