INSTALLATION
Step 1
Check the firmware version of your Exstreamer under Update. An update is required for Exstreamer running firmware versions lower than 5.19. Download Exstreamer Rescue Kit Version 5.19 or higher from www.exstreamer.com and update the Exstreamer firmware following the instructions in the file readme1st.txt.
Result
The Exstreamer is ready to support the IR Remote Control Kit.
Step 2
Open the battery compartment and check the signs of polarity. Insert the two batteries accordingly into the IR remote control.
Result
The IR remote control is ready to operate.
Step 3
Connect the serial cable of the IR receiver to the serial port of the Exstreamer. Reinstall the Exstreamer into your installation. Make sure you have lign of sight with the IR receiver from where you want to use the IR remote control.
Result
The Installation is completed.The Exstreamer can now be controlled through your IR remote control. Enjoy the new comfort and ease of use!
GUIDE TO REMOTE CONTROL KEYS
Please point IR Remote Control to the IR receiver while using it.
MUTE
Mute / Unmute the Exstreamer Output.
- / + SONG
Switch to previous / next song in the current playlist.
- / + VOL
Decrease / Increase volume of Exstreamer Output.
- / + PLIST
Switch to first song of previous / next playlist.
1 to 9, 0
Switch to first song of playlist one to ten. Stop the current song. Play the current song. Pause the current song.
REPEAT
Toggle repeat mode for song / playlist / off.
SHUFFLE
Toggle shuffle mode on / off.
