The IOPRINT+ family of print servers provides seamless connection of serial and parallel interface printers to Ethernet LANs.These print servers provide high performance and low cost printing solutions to take full advantage of network printing resources. A special Internet printing feature enables users to create remote print jobs using a local print driver that automatically delivers the job to the printer via e-mail. 2. Connect the printer or printers 3. For "Direct Attach" models, connect the Print Server directly to the printer's parallel port. 4. For other models, use a standard cable (printer or serial, as required) to connect each Print Server port to the required printer. 5. Connect the LAN cable 6. Connect the network cable to the proper connector on the Print Server. The Print Server will automatically recognize whichever connector is used. Note If your Print Server has both BNC and UTP (10BaseT or 10/100BaseT) connectors, only ONE (1) connection can be used. 7. Connect the supplied Power Adapter. 8. Power ON, and check the Error LED. It should flash, then turn off. If it stays on, there is a hardware error. 4. Run the Setup Wizard, either by using this option on the final installation screen, or by selecting it from the Start menu option created by the installation. 5.
