To achieve the highest quality video conferencing, the Mitel Networks 5760 Video Conference Appliance automatically adapts to network conditions while ensuring that users experience the best possible audio and video performance at all times. It operates with the Mitel Networks 5310 IP Boardroom Conference Unit and any standard television monitor. Standard Telephony Features
The 5760 Video Conference Appliance is a dual-mode product that supports both ISDN and IP networks. It is an ideal solution for enterprises with a need for dual-mode conferencing to take advantage of IP conferencing capabilities, while still having the option to connect to legacy ISDN devices. The 5760 Video Conference Appliance allows those seeking a TV-based set-top video conferencing solution to easily enable any conference room in their enterprise for video conferencing. It also allows enterprises to protect their investment by providing an easy migration path to IP networking.
Enhanced Quality of Service
Interactive Multicast Participant The 5760 Video Conference Appliance includes interactive multicast participant support to enable users to join an interactive multicast session with the click of a button. Interactive multicasting also allows participants to join a lecture mode multi-party conference call without the need for an additional video conferencing bridge.
Users will enjoy familiar, standard telephony functionality such as call forward, call transfer, hold and more. The Mitel Networks 5700 Voice First Application server provides a connection between the 5760 Video Conference Appliance and a Mitel Networks 5020 IP Phone or a 5310 IP Boardroom Conference Unit and a Mitel Networks 3300 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP) so that anything that you can do with voice you can now do with video.
To ensure the best quality of voice and video delivery, the 5760 Video Conference Appliance intuitively adjusts to changes in network performance, dynamically adjusting to delay or jitter. Users continuously experience the best possible audio and voice performance.
Web-Based Management Users of the 5760 Video Conference Appliance can download remote software upgrades or configure the appliance via a web browser.
