Optical Terminators Plug type Description: The plug-type optical terminations are used to terminate dark fiber ports on fiber optic components. The zirconia ferrule is polished with an angled end face to reduce un-wanted reflections from open ports. These terminations also provide improved personnel safety over other termination methods.
