The H460 CAT-5 Music Distribution System
delivers quality audio to as many as four rooms via a single CAT-5 connection to each location. The H460 comes with a wall plate and a hub. The wall plate delivers audio to the hub which distributes audio to each location. Each location has its own local amplifier which is powered by the H460 Hub. The system can be expanded with an additional hub for up to 8 rooms.

To wire to a location that has only a single speaker, tie the Orange and Green lines together from the H460 and connect to the left input of the amplifier. Then connect the speaker to the Left+ and Left- lines of the amplifier as shown.

Insert wires into terminal block and tighten screws. Use the color bar to match wire colors.
Punch down CAT-5 cable from the wall plate and as many as four remote amplifiers. Follow wire colors as shown.
To expand the system to eight rooms, connect the output of the first hub to the input of the second using a CAT-5 patch cord such as the H691 or H692. Use only one input wall plate and connect to first hub as shown.

COMPATIBLE AMPLIFIERS
The H460 system is compatible with RussoundTM A-VC and A-KP volume controls. With these models, systems features such as IR control of the remote source and external amplified speakers can be added. Typical Room
The cables in an OpenHouse run from the various rooms of the house directly to the service center location.(This is known as ‘home run’ wiring.) Two types of wire are used for communication and entertainment: Cat-5, 4-UTP (4 U nshielded T wisted P airs) wire handles data or 1 to 4 telephone lines. RG-6 coax handles television (antenna or cable), satellite dish, cable modem, or AV modulator signals. (An AV modulator creates new TV channels for front door camera, DVD player, a VCR or a satellite receiver.) We recommend the following pre-wire schemes . Run these wires from the service center to the rooms indicated.
