BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION: • Keep these instructions for future reference. • Requires 4 “D” (LR20) alkaline batteries (not included). (Rechargeable batteries may be substituted.) • The voltage of a fully-charged, rechargeable battery is often lower than that of a fresh alkaline battery. Therefore, it is recommended that alkaline batteries be used instead of rechargeable batteries for best performance and longer play time. • Install batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). • To avoid battery leakage: 1. Follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s installation instructions. 2. Do not mix old and new batteries. 3. Do not mix standard (carbon-zinc), alkaline or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium or nickel-metalhydride) batteries. Do not mix different brands of batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. 4. When toy is not used for an extended period of time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit. 5. Remove dead or exhausted batteries from product. 6. Dispose of dead batteries properly; do not bury. Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may leak or explode. • Make sure cover is properly installed on unit at all times. • Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before recharging. • Charging of rechargeable batteries should be done only by an adult. • The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. 6 Secure both ends of tube D into #1 connectors. If there is still a problem, install new batteries. Insert tube B into connector #4. # 3B B Attach tube B to connector #3 at bottom. 4C Battery Replacement 13 14 To replace batteries, open battery compartment located at bottom of ball launcher. Replace using 4 "D" (LR20) alkaline batteries. (Rechargeable batteries may be substituted.) Baseball Trainer must be staked. Operation 19 20 16 15 On / Off switch is located at bottom of the ball launcher. Select position of Baseball Trainer 21 - for higher loft 17 Feed ball launcher through opening in net. Tie net tightly from underneath. Place ball launcher onto the base of the frame. Select position of Baseball Trainer - for lower loft 22 OPERATION • Select the position of ball launcherand set frame accordingly. • Load balls into launcher. Start button • Choose ball launch setting. • Push the Start button. - Once you hear 7 beeps, balls will immediately begin to launch. Rotate ball launcher. Rotate ball launcher. Baseball Trainer must be staked into the ground in 3 locations shown. If no balls are detected in the ball launcher, 10 seconds will lapse and ball launch motor will automatically shut off to conserve battery life. Shoots 3 balls then shuts off. Frame reduced to minimum length. user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
