Robustness Pressed, heavy gauge (AISI 304) stainless steel hob. The smooth chomed (12mm) fry plate, which is in special heat resistant steel, rests directly on the (aluminated steel) combustion chamber but independent from the exterior cladding. Hygiene The hob has a radiused, moulded grease collecting channel around the fry plate, with direct drain to a removable collection drawer. Hobs are connected with the aid of a stainless steel jointing plate to prevent seepage and spillage between the units. Performance Heating is obtained by means of (armoured) elements fitted to the underside of the fry plate, controlled by a (50o to 270o C) three phase thermostat, with signal lamp on the fascia panel. Safety In compliance with CE regulations, the appliances are fitted with a high limit (three phase) safety thermostat which intervenes upon eventual failure of the working thermostat and, when temperature of the fry plate exceeds 350oC, thereby providing overheating protection. The safety thermostat is manually reinstated. Modularity These are modular appliances, which can be suited together with other appliances of the same Series. Hobs are united by means of a stainless steel jointing plate, as described above. Maintenance All functional parts are accessible from the front of the appliance, to facilitate maintenance and service.
