The TosBlue concept The TosBlue X unit transforms the optical digital sound signal from your new TV to Bluetooth signals which are wirelessly transmitted to a Bluetooth sound product.
Look for the Toslink plug on the back of your TV. It looks like shown on the picture. The receiving device may either be a Bluetooth headset or another Bluetooth product. When you use a good stereo Bluetooth headset, you will experience fantastic sound from your own TV – in stereo!
Alternate input The unit is additionally equipped with a 3.5 mm line-in input. A stereo cable may be connected between the unit and the output of an older TV – or other sound devices - lacking Toslink output. The principle of use is the same.

Background Most new flat screen TVs are equipped with an optical digital output plug on the back. This output is referred to as Toslink or SPDIF. The purpose of this output is to give the user the opportunity to send out extra TV sound to an amplifier connected to external speakers. This way a better and more powerful

Page 3 sound from the TV set is achieved. This solution requires that the amplifier is equipped with Toslink input – and it may be a very costly solution. If you do not have this type of amplifier – TosBlue may be the solution for you – a solution you can afford.
Installation The installation is done in a minute without use of any tools. No special skills are required. All you need cables and Velcro - is included. When installed on back of your new flat screen TV, ThosBlue may look like this - as viewed from the back. You fasten the TosBlue unit to the back on your sending equipment (TV) with a Velcro pads as illustrated. Proceed to connect the 2 cables, the USB cable for power and the optical cable for signal. The unit is now ready for use.
Operation TosBlue is furnished with NO buttons and needs NO user attention. When the TV, or other sending device is turned ON, Tosblue will also be automatically turned ON. TosBlue will enter pairing mode and remain in this mode until paired with a Bluetooth device. The LED located on top of the unit will indicate the status.
