APPLICATIONS: The Architekt¯ur A6 provides a nominal 6" specification grade, adjustable accent luminaire for a wide variety of commercial and high-end residential projects. Suitable for new construction where insulation is not installed within 3" of the fixture. The A6 is ideal for applications that require an uncluttered ceiling and dramatic illumination of featured items. Specify the A6 commercially in office, retail, and hospitality spaces, and residentially in bedrooms, living rooms, foyers, and hallways.
LAMP/SOCKET: Nickel plated medium base socket (A6PAR30). Accommodates 40-75W PAR30 lamps. Thermal protector prevents fixture from overheating when improperly installed or over-lamped. Lamps furnished by others.
HOUSING:
J-BOX: Prewired 18 gauge galvanized steel junction box with snap-on cover. J-box is accessible from above or below ceiling. Rated for through wiring (4 in/4 out, 90º C).
Tool-less, top accessible 20 gauge powder painted steel
housing in matte black. 18 gauge galvanized steel plaster frame.
OPTICS/REFLECTOR: Stainless steel trim retention torsion springs standard. Aperture and flange dimensions match Prescolite 6" static downlights. Trim flanges are made of diecast aluminum standard, but are available with a self-flange option (ST). Reflectors are Alzak which will not yellow, crack, or warp. All trims feature translating center beam optics, 35º vertical aiming (excluding FC and AC trims) and 362º rotational aiming. Hot aiming (with trim in place) standard for all trims. Both vertical and horizontal adjustments can be locked in place without tools.
INSTALLATION: Universal adjustable mounting brackets accommodate 11/2" or 3/4" lathing channel or 1/2" EMT (by others), or Prescolite 24" bar hangers (B24 or B6).

LABELS: UL listed for all common ceiling types. Insulation, if present, must be kept 3" away from housing. UL listed for damp locations and through wiring. UL listed for wet locations when used with 6L1 trim. CSA certified. Thermally protected.
