Contractor Series Dual Channel Modulator with IR 8072VMPIR Series
The StarServe 8072VMPIR Contractor Series Video Modulator is a multichannel modulator unit, housed in a set top box. The 8072VMPIR is designed to take multiple Baseband (Composite) video signals from VCRs, DVDs or Set Top Boxes and converts them into userselected Broadband channels (UHF 21–69). Once connected to a StarServe Video Distribution Unit (VDU), these Broadband channels can be viewed on any connected television, within the home. The user selects the output frequency (Broadband channel) using the seven segment, two digit display and up/down push buttons located on the front of the modulator unit. Any TV connected to the output via coax can receive the signal, when tuned to the same Broadband (UHF) channel. The 8072VMPIR features a 5V IR engine and connections for IR emitters. control of the connected components (VCRs, DVDs and Set Top Boxes), when used with an 8073/8VHPIR StarServe Contractor Series Video Hub. The 8072VMPIR StarServe Contractor Series Dual Channel Video Modulator utilises leading edge drift free circuitry, providing high quality picture reproduction throughout the home. A 75Ohm/HI-Z switch is located on the rear of the unit for selecting signal termination or the looping of video signals. The unit can be powered by connecting a 12V DC regulated Power Pack directly to the unit or via a StarServe wall plate (2031RFT Series). For convenient mounting the units are housed in a set top box.
