OVERALL DIMENSIONS 1. GENERAL FEATURES Used to extend an existing Wi-Fi network or to create a secure Wi-Fi network with the option of setting up a personalised hotspot. Guaranteed quality of service in accordance with the WMM standard. -- Coverage area: 600 m2 in unobstructed space -- Dual band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz -- Conforms to the 802.11 a/b/g/n standard -- Theoretical speed: 300 Mbps gross MIMO 3 x 2, supports up to 4 SSIDs simultaneously -- Can be installed in addition to a new or existing LCS2 structured wiring system to meet mobile working requirements -- For integration in false ceiling -- PoE power supply (Power over Ethernet - IEEE 802.3 af standard) -- Tool-free network connection via an RJ 45 connector -- The access point incorporates weekly time programming for switching the terminal on and off The installation must include at least: -- One false ceiling Wi-Fi access point: the product can be used on its own or with Wi-Fi controller Cat. No. 0 335 25 -- A PoE injector Cat No. 0 335 01 conforming to the 802.3 af standard (LCS2 unit format) to be installed in the patch cabinet -- Can be configured centrally via controller Cat. No. 0 332 25 or via configuration software Cat No. 0 335 24 or individually -- The management function enables the network administrator to manage the Wi-Fi access points remotely via an https web interface -- Security via WEP, WPA and WPA2 (802.11i) encryption and 802.1x authentication -- Compatible with WMM QoS and supports SNMP management -- Guest access: allows visitors free access to the Internet (access independent of the main Wi-Fi network) -- Energy saving with standby management -- Mounted in false ceiling 4. CONNECTION The installation only requires an Ethernet cable as its 48 V power supply is carried by this cable (PoE 802.3af standard). The access point is connected to the network cable via a tool-free connector identical to other Legrand RJ45 sockets. 5. MOUNTING Accessories: -- 1 RJ45 connector -- Configuration software -- 4 fixings for cable ducting 2. TECHNICAL FEATURES 6. TECHNICAL FEATURES (continued) The access point can be configured and administered via an intuitive web interface. The administrator can set up the access point (WPA encryption) with a single click using quick configuration mode. The date/time can be set automatically from the network (NTP). The configuration can be backed up/restored. Free firmware updates available on the Legrand website. A CD-ROM is available containing the tools for configuring the access point. 6.1 Electrical features -N umber of aerials: two omnidirectional aerials integrated in the product - Ethernet interface: 10/100 Base T, RJ45, tool-free connection -W i-Fi interface: the access point can be used for simultaneous operation in 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz or in 802.11a/n 5GHz. - Transmission frequencies (channels) automatically adapt to the country of use - Frequency band: - 802.11b/g/n: 2.4 GHz ISM to 2.48 GHz ISM - 802.11a/n: 5 GHz to 5.85 GHz UNII - " Guest access" and "time programming" function -S ending logs via the "syslog" network -S ignal strength adjustable (from 0 to 100 mW), in order to reduce or increase the coverage area and thus increase the density of Wi-Fi terminals -P ower supply: PoE (Power over Ethernet) The 48 V power supply is provided via the Ethernet cable, 802.3af standard.
