Model 802D-PCI
Digital Video Generator Plug-in Card
The 802D -PCI delivers full 24 bit Digital Video (DVI, LDI & TTL) up to 330 MHz.
Digital PCI Generator. The 802D-PCI lets you begin testing digital displays quickly using your PC and our VGM® software. Or, if you want to make your own interface, we give you the tools to integrate with your own ATE system. You'll save bench space and rack space with our plug-in design. And, you won't compromise precision or programmability. The 802D-PCI is a fully programmable video test signal source on a half-size PCI card. We've included hundreds of computer formats and flat panel test images so you can be sure to match manufacturers specs exactly. Plus, any 801 formats or images you've created are fully compatible. Wouldn't you like to know more?

DVI Output. Supports single and dual link to 330 MHz. LVDS Output. Supports single and dual link to 224 MHz. TTL. A 24 bit channel gives you the most flexibility to adapt to non-standard interfaces up to 100 MHz. 24 bits per pixel output. An 8 bit in 24 bit out lookup table for all outputs. DTV Signal Capability. Pre-programmed standard DTV formats are ready for immediate use. Digital outputs support YCbCr color encoding. HDCP Copy Protection. A built-in Pass/Fail test uses HDCP authentication protocol to check a display’s compliance. Built-in Formats. Over 200 popular video formats are built-in including VESA, ATSC, EIA-770.x, SMPTE 170, 240, 267, 274, 293, 295, 296, EIA/CEA-861B. Flat panel Images. We’ve added images designed specifically for Flat Panel displays so you can begin testing immediately. More than 300 images are built-in. Or, create your own. DMA. High speed 32 bit PCI data bus at 33 MHz. 1/2 PCI card size. Many of todays PC’s won’t accept full size cards. No problem. VGM included. Our popular Video Generator Manager software lets you easily select, view and edit formats, images and test sequences using a virtual control panel running under Windows®. DDC-2B. Now you can read and write to todays smart monitors. Querry the monitor for compatible formats. Custom Interface and Programming Software. Write your new application in a Windows® environment. We include the necessary support software to get your applications running quickly. Easy Firmware Updates with Flash EPROMs. No more changing EPROMs. NVRAM Memory. On board memory stores all of your loaded formats, images and sequences. Bit mapped images. Display bitmapped images stored on disk using VGM. (Medical, Photos) PC memory mapped. Draw directly into the 802’s video memory with your own application using your PC’s processor. Custom Test Sequences. Set up custom sequences of test images and formats for repetitive testing. WinColorKit. Microsoft’s recent color matching standard is supported with a new interactive image. Probe. Trigger a scope or inspection camera using the probe signal. Position a pulse anywhere in the frame using the 802’s knobs. 3.3V or 5V. Use standard 5 volt or lower power 3.3 volt.
