RADIO OPERATION 1. Connect Headphone Jack into sock. 2. Turn Power Volume Control Dial clockwise to turn on and adjust volume. 3. Press Band selector you choose to listen to (AM or FM). RADIO SPECIFICATIONS 1. FM Frequency Range: 87.5 – 108.5 MHz 2. AM Frequency Range: 530 – 1650 KHz 3. Power Souce: 2 x 1.5 V batteries (UM4, AAA not included) TO INSERT/REPLACE BATTERIES • Remove screw to open the battery compartment door. • Insert two 1.5 volt UM4 or AAA batteries. Note correct polarity. • Replace screw to close the battery compartment door. HEADPHONE CAUTION Wearing headphones while exercising may affect your ability to hear surrounding sounds. For safety, always remain alert to traffic and your environment. USING THE ARMBAND To Attach the Armband: 1. Hold both edges of the connector and slide it onto the unit until you hear a click (Figure A). 2. Unwind and straighten the wrap-around band. To more easily straighten the band, slightly bend the tip of the band in the opposite direction (Figure B). 3. Hold the body of the unit and attach to straightened band to your arm (Figure C). The band is designed so it should wrap around your arm automatically. 4. Tighten the band by pulling on the rubber belt (Figure D).

To Remove the Armband Squeeze both edges of the connector and slide it off the radio (Figure E). To Adjust the Length of the Armband Move the grip strip fastener to the desired position (Figure F).

To Clean the Armband Remove the rubber belt from the unit and clean with a damp cloth.

CAUTION: 1. Avoid bending the band with force in the opposite direction as it can break. 2. The straightened band will wind easily when you touch it. Be sure to handle it carefully.
