plumbing systems ‘Mixer’ showers blend hot water (usually from a stored supply) and cold water (usually direct from mains supply). Your choice of Francis Pegler shower and installation procedure will vary according to the type of water system, illustrated opposite are the most common domestic water systems found in your home. Francis Pegler’s range of showers have been designed to operate on all these systems subject to the correct minimum operating pressure (Minimum operating pressures are shown by product in the brochure). It is important that the correct minimum operating pressure is available for the shower valve and shower head to operate correctly.
Wide Choice of Showers Valves
Single Sequential
Francis Pegler thermostatic showers are available in "concealed" (recessed into the wall) or "exposed" (wall mounted) shower valve controls and the new Francis Pegler range has no less than 28 models incorporating both dual control and single sequential shower valves.
Single Sequential control means that through the use of one simple to use control lever the shower temperature and flow is controlled. The showers are thermostatically controlled with factory pre set maximum temperatures to avoid scolding and makes these new Francis Pegler showers ideal for use by the young, the elderly and the less able.
Thermostatic Operation and Safety The working of the Francis Pegler mixer showers is by mixing together hot and cold water to the desired showering temperature (thermostatically controlled they maintain the required temperature when other water appliances are being used in the home) and have a built in safety shut down for cold water failure. All models are supplied with "flow limiters" which allow safe connection to unbalanced and high pressure water systems.
Dual Control Dual Control means that through the use of two simple to use control levers the shower temperature and flow are controlled separately. This allows the user to control the flow of the shower from full force to a relaxing flow while retaining their ideal water temperature for showering. The showers are thermostatically controlled with factory pre set maximum temperatures to avoid scolding and makes these new Francis Pegler showers ideal for use by those wanting to have the ultimate control of the shower.
Shower Valve Servicing & Maintenance Francis Pegler thermostatic showers are designed for low maintenance and can be serviced with minimum disruption to your water system.
Guarantees and Approvals Francis Pegler thermostatic showers are covered by a 5 year guarantee against all manufacturing defects (excluding damage caused by incorrect fitting or misuse). Francis Pegler Shower Heads are covered by a 1 year guarantee against all manufacturing defects (excluding damage caused by incorrect fitting or misuse).
