The Enable-IT 8924 Ethernet Extension DSLAM is a 1.5U compact 24-port VDSL2 IP DSLAM with 2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and built-in POTS/ISDN splitter. It is compliant to ITU-T G.993.2 and delivers 100Mbps of symmetric data rate over the existing copper wires. Ideal high performance broadband solution for triple play (Video, Voice and Data) applications. The 8924 pushes Ethernet and dual voice simultaneously through existing telephone line to the 850 LRE CPE units. The 8924 aggregates its upstream and downstream bandwidth through a dedicated Gigabit port (either copper or GBIC fiber module) to your Ethernet switching equipment or routers. The 8924 offers user-friendly management interfaces that allow service providers to monitor and control their services in a highly secure and efficient way. It features the supports for Port-based/Protocol-based VLAN, Q-in-Q, VLAN Mapping, VLAN translation, L2/L3 frame filtering and secured forwarding.
