Apollon, the artisanal yacht Apollon was built as an “artisanal yacht” because it was entirely handmade by our team of skilled artisans using fine African wood. Apollon, launched in 2015, is a ketch with four sails fully operable, as well as two main engines and a hydraulic bowthruster. Speed: 10 knots under engine, 6 knots under sail.
The Cabins The Apollon has 7 cabins. Four cabins are 16 sq.m with double bed and upper berth. The master cabin is 25 sq. m with double bed and two upper berths. Two cabins with two twin beds are 8 sq. m and 16 sq. m. All cabins have private en suite WC, shower with hot water, electric toilet, sink and towels. Linens are changed every other day. All cabins are fully air conditioned.
The Salon
The salon is 30 square meters with entry from the rear deck, cabin areas or the galley. The salon has two tables with booth seating. The salon comfortably seats fourteen persons. The salon is equipped with television with satellite reception, DVD player with stereo music throughout the ship and a liquor cabinet.
The Galley
The yacht’s chef is an expert in Mediterranean and Greek cuisine and is available on all Apollon cruises. In lieu of a chef, passengers have the option to prepare their own meals in the galley. The Apollon’s galley measures 18 sq. m and has a full service kitchen. Appliances include five refrigerators and freezers, oven with grill, microwave oven, industrial style stove with four burners, bar-b-que for outdoor deck, coffee and espresso machines, sink, dishes, glasses, cutlery and cookware.

The owners of the Apollon are also specialty travel tour operators in Greece with over 20 years experience. They are able to organize and provide exciting activities for clients during each cruise. Their expertise in providing provide active and leisure land and sea excursions during a cruise on the Apollon creates an extraordinary memorable experience for all clients.
Guests have the choice of active or leisure activities: biking, hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, wine tasting, deep sea fishing, archaeology sightseeing, culinary classes, Greek music, yoga, scuba diving and visiting artists’ workshops Apollon keeps “toys” on board the yacht including a fleet of bikes, sea kayaks, fishing gear and snorkeling gear.
The Bridge
The Apollon bridge is equipped with the latest electronics in communications, radar, depth finder, ecosounder, chart plotter, weather station, automatic pilot and VHF-SBS-GPS–NAVTEX-GSMS.
The Crew The Apollon is fully crewed with an professional captain, engineer and two mates. The crew has over thirty years e x p e r i e n c e i n seafaring, sailing and building sail boats, specifically wooden yachts. The Apollon crew are licensed and certified by all international sea faring regulatory agencies, including the United States Coast Guard and European Economic Union sea regulatory standards. Crew members are certified in first aid and CPR procedures. For cruise activities, a tour leader joins the crew.

Cruising Information The Apollon is available for day sails and multi-day cruises to all island regions of Greece all year around. The yacht accommodates up to 49 passengers on day sails and up to 16 passengers on multi-day cruises. The Apollon is suitable for families with children ten years and older, groups, corporate travel and individual cabins for charter on scheduled sailings.
