A4300M maritime computer The A4300M is designed to operate in rugged maritime environments. Each unit is individually manufactured to provide the maximum quality and reliability.

Integrated into the unit are shock mounts to reduce shock and vibration, fan filters that can be exchanged, a bracket to secure all external cables from stress and vibration and a front cover to prohibit unauthorized or accidental access to the storage devices as well as the computer power and reset switches. The A4300M is a flexible unit. Removable drives, Optional Graphic and IO Cards enables the design of customer specific configurations. Maritime Classification Societies, such as Det Norske Veritas, require the use of a Maritime Approved Computer in applications critical to the operation of a ship. This includes navigation, fire control, engine control, ballast control, cargo control, Voyage Data Recorders and other mission critical applications. The A4300M is designed and tested to be compliant for maritime type approval by all major Maritime Classification Societies. To be designated a Maritime Computer, the Classification Societies have established a rigorous testing process. The computer is subjected to extreme variations in heat, humidity, shock and vibration. The A4300M has passed all of these tests.
