Series T26 represents a new concept for high AC current measurements. The new units combine the reliability of high precision high capacity current-transformers with the proven performance of Mescon's AC input 2-wire transmitters. The T26 offer a coherent industrial solution to current measurement problems of up to 1000A. The output is a linear current loop, 4-20mA which is proportional to the electrical current flowing through the T26 core. A test terminal provides a 40-200mV signal proportional to the 4-20mA output for monitoring and verification of the output without breaking the current loop. An optional integral digital LCD indicator is available for many input ranges to directly display the actual current flow through the T26.

1.Connect the positive supply lead to terminal +. 2.Connect the negative supply lead to terminal -. 3.Route the Input current cable through the T26 orifice.

Calibrating and Adjustments: It is assumed that the unit undergoing calibration has been properly ranged at the factory or workshop. 1.Connect a digital current monitor to the T26 output terminals. Observe for proper polarity. 2.Connect the power supply leads to the digital current monitor and terminal. 3.Set the input to the desired minimum signal and adjust the Zero pot until the output minimum signal is set. 4.Set the input to the desired maximum signal and adjust the Span pot until the output maximum signal is set. 5.Repeat steps 3 & 4 until no further adjustment is needed, until the output maximum signal is set.
