ACCESS CONTROLLER up to 10 Magnetic Cards. OPERATING MODE. The DA-00 is an access control by magnetic card with 10 units as maximum capacity. It includes places controls to authorize, introduce, deny, consult and setup cards. It allows to change the serial number to use several controllers in a same place. The output is by relay, with adjustable timings. Module including: Indication Leds, Cards reader and cards identification. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS. 12 V. D.C. 10 mA / 70 mA. 5 A. With the serial authorisation, the module is programmed to be used with a complete exclusivity as concern your cards, then you have to indicate which cards have an authorised access. To do that, and into the Program Mode (Set jumper closed), you have to press several times the select touch up to arrive into the Authorisation function, where the Charge Led will light. Like for the serial authorisation, you have to insert two times the card that you wish to authorise. The first time, the green Led “ON” will light and the acoustic indicator generates a short signal. The second time, the confirmation one, the acoustic indicator will generate a longer signal and the Green Led stop its intermittence, being lighted some seconds and then light off. If the process is done like this, the inserted card will be authorised. Otherwise, the error will be indicated thanks to a Red Led “OFF”. Repeat this process to authorise new cards, waiting between each authorised card that the Led “ON” light off. INSTALLATION. POWER SUPPLY. The DA-00 circuit had to be supplied by a 12 VDC power supply correctly filtered. We recommend you to use the FE-103 power supply, which has been developed to perfectly answer to the circuit needs instead of standard power supply or rectifiers who can damage the circuit. Install a fuse and a switch has it is indicated on the schedule. Both are necessary for the module's protection as well as for your own safety, as it is required by the “CE” regulations. Connect the positive and the negative of the power supply to the respective positive and negative terminals of the module, indicated in the wiring map. The distance between the power supply and the module has to be as short as possible. Verify that the assembly is correct and read the instruction manual before to activate the switch. OUTPUT CONNECTION. LOAD. The DA-00 output is controlled by a relay, and accepts any device up to 5 A. The relay is not a component supplying voltage but its function is limited to accept or deny the voltage passage like a standard switch. For this reason, you have to supply the load through this component. The relay has three output terminals: The normally open quiescent (NO), the normally closed quiescent (NC) and the common. Install it between the Common and the NO in accordance with the Fig.1. For the inverse function you have to place the load between the NC and Common Fig. 1. How To Connect The Load 230 V AC CONNECTION Common Apparatus, 230 V. A. C. Load. INFORMATION ABOUT THE OUTPUT. During the operating mode and according to its load, it could happen a fluctuation or an incorrect working of the output. In such case, you have to install an anti-spark circuit between the two relay's contacts used for the connection. If the load connected to the relay of the circuit is supplied at 230 V AC, you have to use 100 nF/400V type X2 Capacitor and a 47W. ½ W resistor) as it is indicated on the drawing. NO 47 W 1/2W. If the load is supplied at 12 or 24 V DC, you have to NC 100nF/400 V. suppress the resistor between both contacts and install X2 Common only the X2 capacitor. You have to make tests with values Apparatus, Load. between 10 nF and 47 nF, up to suppress the fluctuation. ACCESS CONTROL MODE. Once serial authorisation operations, cards authorisation, etc… done, you only have to place the DA-00 where you want to control the access and start its operating. To activate the Access Control Mode, the DA-00 have to have all Program Leds (Charge, Discharge, Check and Serial) light off. Then, you have to press several times the Select touch and the Set jumper has to be maintained open. Then, each time that you will insert a card into the reader, the DA-00 checks its status. If the card is not authorised, the red Led “off” will shortly light and the acoustic indicator emits a signal to indicate at the user that the access is denied. At the opposite, if the card is authorised, the module will valid the access connecting the relay and activating the output. The green Led “ON” will light and the acoustic indicator emits a signal to confirm. The relay connection time, authorising the access to a card, can be adjusted between 1 and 4 sec. The DA-00 is supplied with two main cards, the rest of cards up to 10 (if it is necessary) have to be obtained as accessory. Please consult your distributor. Cards have an adhesive film allowing to protect with plastic or personalise them with your own data. Jumper Activation OPERATING MODE. OPERATING. The module operating can be divided in two parts or concepts, Program Mode and Access Control Mode. CARDS INSERTION. Before to introduce you into the Program Mode or to use the Access Control Mode, you have to correctly learn how to pass cards into reader. This operation is important and indispensable for all operating modes in this circuit. The Fig.3 shows the correct way to place and to introduce the card into the Fig 3. To Insert the Card. reader. The back of the card, with the magnetic part (band), has to be placed in the reader side indicated with an arrow, and the band has to be maintained on the reader interior side. Once the card correctly placed, at normal speed (not to fast neither to slow) Magnetic Band you have to slide the card into the reader, up to down following the way Back of the indicated by the narrow. Card If you slide cards according to these indications, the module will perfectly read cards and allows you to do all necessary operations. 2. 1. Print the label card or picture with your data or write them. . 3. Press with your finger to Remove the silicone protector paper and glue the label.. facilitate the adherence. GENERAL WIRING MAP. The first operation to do it to authorise the serial number. Theoretically, there are several users with a Communication Cable DA-00 and all have cards compatible with yours. Then, this situation will allow to the Main Board to any foreign person, but having a CEBEK card with a number recorded in your reader, to be authorised. To avoid this situation, each DA-00 module is supplied with a pack including two cards including an exclusive and internal coded number which difference it from any other DA-00. your reader, to be authorised. To avoid this situation, each DA-00 module is supplied with a pack including two cards including an exclusive and internal coded number which difference it from any other DA-00. This “serial number” has to be authorised in the reader to allow the circuit to accept the rest of operations like authorisation, deny, check, etc…. then it only reads cards having this code and refuses other users with similar cards. To authorise this serial number, you have to accede to the Program Mode, (open or close the Set Jumper), and press several times the select touch up to light the Serial Led. Then, insert one time in the reader one of the two cards supplied with the module. The module will read the serial number and you have correctly inserted the card, the acoustic indicator will generate a sound and the green Led “ON” intermittently light. If the led doesn't answer like this, that means that you have wrongly inserted the card into the reader. Please repeat this operation. Any mistake will be indicated by the DA-00 thanks to the light of the Led “OFF”. You never erased the information inserted into the card but only the access to the module. To activate the “Deny card” function in the Program Mode, you have to press several time the Select touch up to light on the Discharge Led. Then, you have to introduce through the card switch the card number that you want to deny. Like for the Check function, the card number has to be inserted in binary code. See the Fig. 4. Once the card number corresponding to card switch configured, you have to press the Enter touch and the card will be automatically denied (the Led “OFF” shortly light on). ON 12 V DC CONNECTION Check Function (Verification). The check function allows to verify that cards have been authorised in the circuit and then if they have access or not. In Program Mode, you have to press several times the select touch up to the Check Led lights. The verification operation is done through the Card switch composed by 4 dips. Using this card switch and in binary code, you have to indicate the card number that you want to check. The dip Nº1 corresponds to the bit with lower weight (Lsb) and the dip Nº4 corresponds to the bit with higher weight (Msb). Then you have to combine in ON or OFF position the 4 dips according to your needs. See the Fig. Nº4. Then, press the Enter touch. If the indicated card on the card switch has been previously authorised in the module, the green Led “ON” will momentary light on. Otherwise, if the card hasn't be authorised in the module, the red Led “OFF” will light to indicate this situation. If you want to check the status of any other card, you have to repeat this process.
