COORDINATOR The Coordinator comes with 2 versions: COORD and COORD3G The differences between 2 consist in connectivity. - COORD has an Ethernet connection to external world, enabling to manage the geocube network with a web interface, to retrieve data and to stay-up-to date. COORD3G has extensive connectivity possibilities: it can connect to internet with cell protocols (HSPA+, EDGE,GPRS) To make it work the user needs to insert a SIM card. The coordinator can also connect with WIFI as a client( long range WIFI is possible with high gain antennas) It acts also as a WIFI router enabling a direct connection to the data, and enabling ,if cell is active, internet roaming connection, for devices connected to its WIFI network. I/O connections: www.kylia.com PDME 1 Geocube - COORD has 3 I/O: POWER, RJ45, and N: POWER is a IP68 connector. It mates, thanks to the provided cord (5 meter) the power supply. RJ45: is to be connected to the supplied cable (5 meter) which enables an IP68 connection. The other end is not weather protected and is to be connected to an external router. N connector is an IP68 connector for RF. It connects to the cable that leads to antenna. - COORD3G has 5 outputs, 3 first are like COORD, then there is the Wifi output and the Cell output, that both are RP-SMA connectors, for antennas. Accessories for COORD are: - RF Antennas o directionnal antenna with 14dBi gain in a 30°x30°emission cone. It comes with a N-N adaptor for direct connection to COORD: Ref ANT DIRECT. o - omnidirectionnal antenna with 15dBi gain. It comes with a 1-meter long N-N cable for connection to COORD : Ref ANT OMNIDIRECT. Power supply o A 12V AC/DC power supply: Ref PSUPPLY-COORD-12V (included) www.kylia.com geocube 2 Geocube o IP65 Battery package that can be used as a solar power converter or as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). It accepts lead-Calcium batteries (if other type used, please advise), and provides connection to the COORD: Ref BBATT-COORD. o Solar Panel , that can connect directly to BBAT : Ref PSOL-xxxW (where xxx is the power of the solar panel). To calculate panel power, bear in mind that the mean consumption if COORD is 10W and mean consumption of COORD-3G is 15W. www.kylia.com geocube 3 Geocube o 18V AC/DC power supply with connector to BBAT for UPS purpose: Ref PSUPPLYBBATT-18V Accessories for COORD3G are: - RF antennas (see COORD) WIFI antennas (coming soon) Cell Antennas (coming soon) and more generally all accessories available for COORD. GEOCUBE There are 2 versions of geocubes - standard: KYLIA GEO3KYLIA-BUC with a type N RF connector for long range antennas: KYLIA GEO3KYLIA-BUC-ANT Both have a 2-meter cable for power connection. Accessories: - - - 5VAC/DC power supply, for geocubes (with connection to geocube). Indoor use only: Ref PSUPPLY-5V-BUC IP65 Battery package that can be used as a solar power converter. It accepts lead-Calcium batteries (if other type used, please advise), and provides connection to the GEO3: Ref BBATT o Solar Panel , that can connect directly to BBAT : Ref PSOL-xxxxW o Solar Panel fixture: Ref PSOL-FIXTURE IP67 UPS Battery backup. It provides approx 10 hours of autonomy and has connection to the GEO3, it has naked wires on the other side. It requires 5V power supply. It is dedicated to applications where power is available for the GEO3 such as infrastructures (brides, dams...), or for fast testing purposes: Ref BBATT-BACKUP A IP67 buck converter (12V to 3.7V) that includes the Geocube connector and a cable to connect to a 12V battery: Ref CONVERT 5VAC/DC power supply, for BBATT-BACKUP. Indoor use only: Ref PSUPPLY-5V mating fixture for 5/8”-11UNC threaded devices.
