Printed in China Consumer enquiries: 1 887 246 6006 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Automatic battery charger is designed to charge 12 Volt, rechargeable lead acid batteries with rated Amp Hour (Ah) capacity of no less than 12Ah. The application can be applied on conventional automotive, maintenance free, marine deep cycle and AGM, Gel cell batteries such as those used in cars, trucks, farm equipment, boats, lawn mowers, tractors, airplanes, motorcycles, vans, RVs and SUVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, ATVs, trolling motors, etc. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. For your safety, read, understand, and follow the information provided with and on this battery charger. The owner and operator of this equipment shall have an understanding of this product and safe operating procedures before attempting to use. The owner and operator shall be aware that use and repair of this product may require special skills and knowledge. Instructions and safety information shall be conveyed in the operator's native language before use of this product is authorized. If any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of this battery charger, remove from service immediately. INSPECT BEFORE EACH USE. Do not use if broken, bent, cracked, melted or otherwise damaged parts (including labels) are noted. Any battery charger that appears damaged in any way, operates abnormally or is missing parts, shall be removed from service immediately. If the battery charger has been or suspected to have been dropped, subjected to rain or snow, or immersed in liquid, !STOP! and immediately discontinue use until battery charger has been checked by a factory authorized service center. It is recommended that an annual inspection be done by qualified personnel. Labels and Owner's Manuals are available from manufacturer. It is designed to be indoor use and for occasional outdoor use. NEVER expose this device to rain, snow, fog, or high humidity. This charger is equipped with 5 charge rate settings: 2, 6, 10, 12, and 15A. It is microprocessor controlled to provide ease of use. Lighted, digital display shows charging voltage, charging current, % Charge, Error Codes and Operation Mode. Charge rate settings of 2,6,10,12,15A, PLUS a special Maintenance mode which sends a controlled pulse which helps slow down the effects of plate sulfated. Do not disassemble charger; take it to a qualified serviceman when service or repair is required. Incorrect assembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire. 9. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug charger from outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. 1. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS- This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for battery charger model I-7002. 2. NEVER expose this device to rain, snow, fog, or high humidity. 3. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. 4. To reduce risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by plug rather than cord when disconnecting charger. 5. An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If extension cord must be used, make sure: a) that pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size, and shape as those of plug on charger; b) that extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition; and c) that the wire size is large enough for the AC ampere rating of charger. 10. DANGER RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES. a) Working in the vicinity of lead-acid batteries is dangerous. Batteries generate explosive gases during normal battery operation. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance that each time before using your charger, you read this manual and follow the instructions exactly. b) To reduce risk of battery explosion, follow these instructions and those published by the battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery.
