Balanced Flue Information Output and Environmental Information Outputs All of our stoves are capable of producing a great deal of heat. To calculate the output required for your room please consult your local stockist. As a general rule you will need 1Kw of heat for every 14 cubic meters space when the outside temperature is zero degrees. Measure your room length and height and width to obtain the cubic meterage and divide by 14 to get your Kw requirement. This calculation will depend on other factors such as levels of insulation, number of windows etc so please use this only as a general guideline. Environment The Wanders range of balanced flue stoves provide a huge range of installation possibilities. The stove can be sited almost anywhere in the home (subject to current building regulations), whether you have a chimney or not. The flue system can be routed around your home to exit either through an exterior wall or the roof. The flexibility of this system places few restrictions on the path and length of the flue pipe, meaning the stove does not have to be sited against an exterior wall to operate correctly. 22 We all have an obligation to the environment and it’s future. Making the correct energy decisions now will reflect in the years to come in the environment. Woodburning is a highly efficient way of heating your home and by choosing one of our stoves, you can help make a difference now to reducing carbon emissions. Wood is environmentally friendly as it consumes more Carbon Dioxide whilst growing than it emits whilst burning - it is also one of the few fuels which is renewable within our lifetime. The Carbon Trust recognise wood as the ONLY zero rated fuel available (see chart below showing number of Kg of carbon emitted per week by the average family home). The oxygen needed for combustion is sucked in from the outside by means of a double walled pipe, through which the exhaust gasses are emitted out at the same time. This tube can be fitted horizontally through an outside wall as well as through the roof. In case a chimney is available, the fireplace can be connected to it, by means of a flexible pipe. 100/150 : INK4325 80/150 : INK4125 100/150 : INK4315 80/150 : INK4115 100/150 : INK4355 80/150 : INK4155 100/150 : INK4350 80/150 : INK4150 100/150 : INK4365 80/150 : INK4165 100/150 : INK4335 80/150 : INK4135 100/150 : INK4360 80/150 : INK4160 ACR Heat Products are conscious of the environmental issues effecting our world. We therefore recommend that you burn seasoned wood purchased from a sustainable forest management scheme. Because trees contain a lot of water (approximately 50%), freshly cut logs will be difficult to burn and will create a lot of tar which will cause it’s own set of problems. Logs should be stored for two years outside but protected from the rain to enable the moisture content to be reduced to about 20%. 100/150 : INK4300 80/150 : INK4200 100/150 : INK4340 80/150 : INK4140 100/150 : INK4301 80/150 : INK4201 100/150 : INK0920 80/150 : INK0920 To facilitate your chosen installation, Wanders are able to supply a wide range of flue components for balanced flue stoves. All our flue components are designed to work seamlessly with our products and ensure many years of trouble free operation. All Wanders Gas Stoves must be fitted by CORGI registered gas fitters and all installations must conform to Building Regulations. Children and the elderly must be protected from the high temperatures at which the stoves operate and combustibles must be kept at a safe distance. Wanders Standard Gas Stoves are suitable for use with Class I and Class II chimneys in most circumstances and will connect to a 127mm (5”) flue. Ideal flue types are i) Pre-cast fire blocks, ii) Pre-cast chimney blocks and iii) Ridge-tile vents. For Class I chimneys we recommend that the chimney be lined with a 125mm diameter flue liner suitable for use with closed gas appliances. All installations must comply with current building regulations. All dimensions quoted in this brochure are in mm unless stated otherwise. 23 NOTES: Your local dealer: ACR Heat Products, Unit 1, Weston Works, Weston Lane, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 3RP. England.
