Lockmod Series 1500 & Power Supply Modification advantage: You supply the lock and ACSI supplies the modification. The 1500s feature concealed modifications to standard architectural locking devices, allowing you to remotely control and/or monitor your building openings. Most manufacturers have locking hardware suitable for modification which allows you to maintain uniform trim throughout the building. Please consult the lock section guide located on the price list when selecting a specific device for modification. Contact ACSI for assistance with your special requirements. Lockmode functions: A choice of two U.L.-listed control modes and four patented monitoring options are available. When energized, the FAIL SAFE control mode operates as a storeroom function (latch bolt by trim inside and key outside, outside trim rigid, auxiliary latch deadbolts latch bolt) and, when de-energized, it operates as a passage set (latch bolt by trim either side). The FAIL SECURE control mode operates as a passage set when energized and a storeroom function then de-energized. A special LATCH RETRACTION modification is available on selected locking devices. Some may require special door preparation. Four types of monitoring may be used alone or in combination. Monitoring may also be used in conjunction with control functions. AUTHORIZED EGRESS generates an alarm shunt signal when the inside trim is operated. AUTHORIZED PASSAGE generates an alarm shunt signal when either inside or outside trim is operated. SECURITY MONITORING can provide either a closed circuit (CLS) or an open circuit (OLS), when the lock is in the secure condition (auxiliary latch depressed and solenoid in lock position). 1406 ACSI power supplies are designed to operate exit devices equipped with ACSI Series 1550 Electric Latch Retraction. ACSI 1100 Series products are UL Listed and carry a full one-year warranty. Model Hinge Modification Description 1104 Concealed electric through-wire (4 wire) • Electric hinge must be placed in the center position only. • ACSI requires NON-NRP hinges for modification. Hinge pin is not field removable after modification. • ACSI part no. 302-03-03 mortar guard is required for all application with grout-filled frames. ACSI Authorized Egress is a SPDT switch which monitors the activation of the INSIDE trim. The AE switch can be used to: 7. QUICK CONNECT CABLE Model QC • Shunt a door alarm to allow egress. • Signal a control console when the trim is activated. • Activate a door alarm. • Control an electromagnetic lock for egress. LM Description Quick Connect Cable • QC4 - 22AWG 2 conductor 6' quick-connect cable with two-position connector. Allows for ease of installation in transfer of power from the lock to the electrice hinge. Latch Bolt Monitor • Latch bolt monitoring is a SPDT switch which monitors the full extension of the main latch. SM Security Monitoring • The ACSI SM option monitors, in series, solenoid status (locked or unlocked) and latch status (deadlatch position).
