GETTING STARTED
6. Lift the ActivBoard off the stand.
• The installation work should be performed by a qualified installer. Attempting to install the product without relevant experience is done so at your own risk. • Ensure sufficient space to work around the ActivBoard System, including somewhere to put the ActivBoard whilst the Shelf is installed. • Take care when lifting and moving equipment. • Two people will be required to remove the ActivBoard and to replace it once the brackets are fitted. • The images used in this Guide refer to installation onto an ActivBoard Mobile System. If your System is wall-mounted you will not have the base shown in the picture, but the installation instructions remain the same. • Check you have all of the contents.
INSTALLING THE ACTIVBOARD SYSTEM SHELF / LOCKABLE SHELF
The Shelf can be fitted to either side of the stand. A maximum of two Shelves can be installed- one on either side- on the stand. Consider the room layout and the user’s personal preference when deciding which side to fit the Shelf. 1. Confirm if the shelf will be installed on the left or right of the System. 2. Slide the shelf on to the tube, ensuring the plastic end caps are behind the mounting bracket so they are not visible from the front of the system. 3. Tighten the thumb screw to ensure the shelf does not slip during assembly. 4. Attach the second bracket by hand, pushing the tube firmly into the hole on the bracket. DO NOT use a hammer. LOCKABLE SHELF: The tube is supplied separately from the brackets. 1. The tube must be inserted from the top of the shelf (Fig 2).
