DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION The 2052SW15 System Setup Software package allows configuration of the 2052 Switching System controller, the 2052CPM, via an MS-DOS based personal computer (PC). With the 2052SW15, an operator can program (set up) system parameters such as user and keyboard priorities, time and date, camera titles, camera and monitor allocation, sequences, alarms, system tours, salvo callup, partitioning, event timers, and computer communications. Once the system configuration is created, it can be saved to disk on the PC and/or downloaded to the 2052CPM. Likewise, system configurations can be read from the disk on the PC or uploaded from the 2052CPM. The 2052SW15 program is menu oriented. All functions of the 2052SW15 are accessed through the program's Main Menu. Each item on the Main Menu calls a group of submenus. Each submenu provides file handling to and from disk, editing, information transfer between the PC and 2052, printing, and on-line help. The 2052SW15 menu options and functions are illustrated below.

CONFIGURE • Salvo Callup - Permits programming of System Salvos. A System Salvo is a group of cameras that can be called simultaneously to a contiguous group of monitors. A maximum of 64 programmable salvos are available. Each salvo is comprised of 16 entries, with each entry containing selection of camera, preset scene, and auxiliary action. System Salvos can call other System Salvos.
• Access/Priority • Access - Assigns access passcode protection and priority levels to 2052 system users and keyboards. Passcodes contain a maximum of six digits; priority levels range from one to eight, with eight being the highest priority. • Priority - Defines the configuration for each of the eight priority levels. Each priority level can be configured as desired. Defined priority levels may be assigned to individual users and/or keyboards.
• Alarms - Permits programming alarm callups of video inputs to video outputs. A maximum of 1024 alarm contacts may be programmed. Each contact can be associated with a camera or camera salvo, dwell time, preset scene, auxiliary action, and link operation. Alarm contacts may be armed for any monitor(s), and the type of alarm display and clearance method may be selected for each monitor.
• Port - Sets the 2052CPM port parameters, including the type and location of the device connected, and the communication baud rate, parity, data bits, and stop bits. • Date and Time - Permits entry of the date and time, and download to the 2052CPM. The software determines the day of the week corresponding to the entered date.
• System Tours - Permits programming of 64 System Tours. A System Tour (Sequence) sequentially displays a selected series of camera video inputs on any monitor. Each System Tour can control up to 64 entries, with each entry containing camera selection, dwell time, preset scene, auxiliary action, and entry linking. The linking capability allows two or more camera entries to be grouped as a salvo.
• Pseudo Cameras - Assigns pseudo numbers to real camera numbers, allowing the user to change the numeric callup value for any camera. This menu also provides a means for tracking pseudo camera numbers to real camera numbers within other menus. Any change in this menu automatically updates entries in other menus that require camera numbers:
• Event Timers - Permits the definition of 35 separate Event Timers, each of which can begin execution at a specific time of day. An Event Timer allows automatic callup of System Tours and/or Alarm Contact Tables. Each timer provides selection of any individual System Tour for any monitor, for each day of the week. Alarm Contact Table numbers correspond to files downloaded within the Alarm Contact Arming submenu.
Configure - Camera Locator; Monitor - View Access; Camera - Titles/VLD and Keyboard View/Control. Note: It is recommended that Pseudo Cameras be configured before these menu options. 2
