DIMENSIONS
Tempest is a dual voice coil subwoofer with a nominal diameter of 15” (380mm). Each voice coil is 8 ohms, for a total driver impedance of 4, 8, or 16 ohms (depending upon wiring configuration). Tempest uses a heavy gauge stamped steel basket, 1” diameter (25.4mm) rolled foam surround. The cone is a straight-profile Kevlar™impregnated paper pulp composite unit. The spider is a flat progressive design, with epoxy treating and a spacer ring for excursion clearance. The spider is a full 6.5” (165.1mm) in diameter. Tempest carries a full 3 year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
