INSTALLATION Take the KVM Switch out of the box and begin installation. Step 1. If your package comes with a power adapter, then first power up you KVM Switch by connecting the external power adapter to it. Note: This KVM Switch can feed on interface power coming from the computer USB interface , hence an external power adapter is not required if the power feed coming from the USB interface is sufficient.

INTRODUCTION This AH02/AH04 is a 2-port/4-port USB KVM Switch that allows you to access, control, boot and reboot multiple USB-enabled computers using only one USB keyboard, mouse and monitor/Flat Panel Display. The AH02 / AH04 features the True Transparent USB (TTU) Emulation technology that can provide full compatibility to all USB HID devices, so that any advanced keyboards and mice can be fully supported. It is especially useful for those who are using very advanced keyboard and mouse for either gaming or critical application scenarios. The AH02 / AH04 supports all time DDC emulation so that it can guarantee a maximum compatibility with video requirements. It supports analog video up to 2048 x 1536. http://www.uniclass.com.tw
Step 2. Connect the shared USB keyboard, mouse and monitor to the KVM switch. Step 3. Connect each of your computers to the KVM switch, using the VGA video cable and the USB (Type A-to-Type B) cable Step 4. (Now your KVM Switch should have been powered-up….) Power up the connected computers. After your computers are powered up, the keyboard and mouse will be recognized and now you can begin operating the KVM switch. Note that, if you are using any keyboard or mouse device that requires proprietary driver to support its full functionality, you should install its driver first on the connected computers. This KVM Switch with the True Transparent USB Emulation (TTU) Technology can only guarantee that it can fully emulate the connected keyboard and mouse, and cannot replace the role of the driver that should be installed on the connected computers. Therefore, please install your driver for keyboard or mouse as it is required before this KVM switch can work wonder for you.
OPERATION There are two methods to control your KVM Switch: using (1) the front-panel buttons or (2) keyboard hotkeys (1) Front- panel buttons The front-panel buttons let you have direct control over KVM switch operation and port switching. Simply press the button for port switching. (2) Keyboard hotkey A keyboard hotkey sequence consists of at least three specific keystrokes: See Quick Reference Sheet
Hotkey preceding sequence configuration: For users who want to use a preceding sequence other than two consecutive Caps Locks, there is also one convenient way to configure it. (1)Hit Caps Lock +Caps Lock + H, then two beeps will signal readiness for new preceding sequence selection [or Press and hold down the last front-panel button (Button 2 or Button 4) until you hear two beeps, then release the button.] (2) Select and press the key you would like to use as your preceding sequence (SCROLL LOCK, CAPS, ESC, F12, NUM LOCK, Left Ctrl ,and Right Ctrl keys are available for selection) and you’ll hear a beep for selection confirmation. Now you can use the new preceding sequence to execute your hotkey commands. Each keystroke within a hotkey sequence should be pressed within 2 seconds. Otherwise, the hotkey sequence will not be validated. For detailed Hotkey sequences and their corresponding functional commands, please refer to the Quick reference sheet.

Notes: 1. The keyboard hotkeys allows you a faster and broader control for your KVM switching operation in addition to the front-panel buttons. If you have configured a hotkey preceding sequence other than two consecutive scroll locks, you should change your hotkey sequence accordingly.
