Ahoy! Berlin Ahoy! Berlin was established in 2011 by Nikita Roschkow and Nikolas Woischnik. Since its inception, it has become one of the most popular coworking spaces in Berlin. After recently moving from Charlottenburg to a new location in Mitte, Ahoy offers an event space, team offices, coworking desks, conference rooms, a caffeteria and more spread out over an area of around 3000 m2. The nautical theme likens the new start-up economy to the open sea with its strong currents and unpredictable weather. Ahoy serves to help budding start-ups and freelancers steer clear of potential pitfalls by connecting them to a wider community of possible collaborators and/or investors via Tech Berlin sister companies Openers and Tech Open Air while also offering additional services like event management and legal advice. Casablanca Big Conference Room Affectionally known as the „Casablanca“, the big conference room can host up to 50 people for larger meetings or presentations. The dedicated projection wall and Bluetooth-capable speaker system means it is ideal for multimedia presentations, workshops or even online conferences. The space regularly hosts all kinds of events: meetups, workshops, hackathons or large corporate events. Equipped with a mounted speaker system and projector it also hosts a monthly movie night for sea-farers and land-lovers alike.
