Power, shutdown, key press tone alert (Buzz on power/key press/power off) 1. 1h • The keys are tapping type. COOLER ON You can tap the operation SWING HUMIDIFIER TIMER MODE OFF SPEED panel to trigger a desired function. • When power is initially turned on, the buzzer beeps twice and enters standby mode; except power/speed keys, other keys are inoperational. POWER ON / SPEED In standby mode, all keys except the Power on / Speed key are inoperational. Press the Power on/Speed key to turn on the device, and the circuit becomes operational. The initial speed of the device is medium, and turns to low automatically after 3 seconds. Corresponding LED lights will illuminate. This is normal mode, but timer, wind direction, and cooling/humidification functions remain inoperational. In power on state, press this key to switch the wind speed in the sequence: LowMid  High Strong Low etc. The speed LED indicator in this process will also change accordingly. SLEEP WIND: In power on state, press this key to switch on/off the cooling / humidification function, press this key once to turn on the cooling / humidification function, open the pump, and turn on cooling / humidification LED light, and press this key again to turn off the cooling / humidification function. SWING High speed: 30 minutes high speed natural wind -30 minutes medium speed natural wind – low speed natural wind (maintain) Medium speed: 30 minutes medium speed natural wind – low speed natural wind (maintain) Low speed: Low speed natural wind After power on, press this key to switch on/off the left and right vane adjustment function; press swing key once to turn on the swing function and swing LED light, and press it again to turn off the swing function. 2. DISPLAY PANEL TIMER After power on, the timer is not turned on by default, and timer LED is not displayed. Press timer key to set timer: 0.5h  1.0H1.5h  2.0h …..  7.5h  no timer  0.5h; in this process, the timer LED indicator also changes accordingly. MODE 0.5h 1h 2h 4h After power on, the initial mode is normally by default; press mode key to activate the sequence: AIR FILTER CLEANING WARNING Press the Mode key to switch the wind mode, and operation is as follows: After operating for 200 hours, the “Clean Filter” indicator will blink to clean up the air filter. Clean the filter according to the instructions and press the “Cooler/Air Washer” for 3 seconds to reset the “Clean Filter” warning. normal  natural  sleep  normal etc.; in this process, the mode LED indicator also changes accordingly (no natural and sleep mode in Turbo level). The device and Cooler/Air Washer function will still be powered on as per normal, working when the “Clean Filter” indicator blinks. Open the battery cover of the remote control, and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries. 2 Point to the receiver on the appliance when using the remote control. If the battery voltage is low, open the battery cover as shown in the figure and replace with new batteries corresponding to its positive and negative poles. FILLING WATER • Remember to always add water to the tank before turning on the cooling and humidification function. Automatic filling and manual filling are available. • Automatic filling: Connect the device to the faucet with a water hose, and then turn on the faucet. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS To avoid the dangers caused by negligence and to use the device more conveniently, several considerations are given through the following icons. Please get familiar with the icons below, and read the User Guide. 1. If the product has any malfunctions, please send it to the repair station or notify the service center; do not disassemble or replace the parts. Do not touch the power cord or plug with wet hands 2. Disassembly or modification without permission will affect the safety and warranty of the appliance. Risk of electric shock 3. Never insert wooden sticks, metal sticks and other objects into the inlet and the outlet. It may cause leakage, short circuit and damage to the product. 4. Do not spray insecticides and flammable sprays around the product. 5. Do not yank the power cord when removing it from the power supply. It may cause power cord damage, electric leakage and other hazards. 6. Ensure that no foreign objects stick to the power plug to prevent any risk of electric leakage when inserting it into the power supply. 7. When the appliance emits an unpleasant odour or abnormal noise during normal operation, immediately power off and unplug the appliance from the power supply. 8. Do not use exposed or damaged power cord as it may cause electric leakage, short circuit or fire. WATER LEVEL SCHEMATIC 9. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer, authorized service center or qualified personnel in order to avoid hazards. IMPORTANT: For manual water filling, please note the level indicator in the front of the air cooler (Fig. 3). 10. Do not bend the power cord or place heavy objects on it to prevent the risk of electric leakage. 1. Do not fill the water exceeding the maximum water level 11. The water level of the tank should not exceed the maximum level, nor should it be lower than the minimum level when the cooling / humidification function is turned on. After water is filled, do not tilt or collide while placing or moving, to prevent water splashing. • Manual filling: Before filling water, open the water box, fill water into the tank slowly (Fig. 1&2), and then insert the water box back into its original position. TIP: It is normal, non-toxic, and not harmful to health if the appliance gives out a slight odour or the water in the tank has a slight discoloration when used for the first time. 12. If the appliance has been tilted and there is water inside, immediately pull out the plug and wait for 24 hours before starting. Min (Fig. 3) 8 13. Shut down the appliance and disconnect the power plug from the outlet if it is not to be used for a long duration. 14. Use the appliance only with an approved power outlet with a power capacity not lower than 10A/220V~ 16. Always ensure that the voltage is consistent with the voltage specified on the rating label. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING DO NOT USE CHEMICAL AGENTS FOR CLEANING 1. Turn off the power and unplug the power plug from the power supply. 2. Always unplug the power plug before cleaning the device to prevent electric shocks. 18. Do not use the appliance by placing it directly below the power outlet. 3. If dust accumulates on the surface, wipe it with soft cloth. If the surface is dirty, mix water lower than 50°C with neutral detergent, wipe with soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally. 19. Keep the appliance away from the wall, curtains and other combustible materials when the appliance is being used in order to prevent a fire hazard. 4. WARNING: Do not use gasoline, thinner and any substance that can damage the surface easily during cleaning. 20. To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. STORAGE: 17. Never use the appliance in the tub, shower or swimming pool. 21. Do not place any objects on the device. 22. During humidifying, DO NOT remove or install air filter screen and wet curtain bracket assembly. It may cause water drops spraying out of the air outlet. 23. For automatic water filling, the maximum pressure of the faucet is 0.5MPa. 10 If the product is not to be used for a long time, pull out the bottom plug of the water tank, drain the water inside the tank, and re-insert the water plug. Blow with constant wind, fully dry the wet curtain, unplug the power cord, wrap the device to prevent dust from entering, and place in dry and ventilated place. 11
