ultra-reliable 60 GHz point-to-point Gigabit Ethernet bridge with integrated 5 GHz backup radio (DualPath™ technology). ? Ideal for telecom carriers (small cell), businesses, government agencies, hospitals, & schools (enterprise LAN). ? Extended range up to 1 mile (~1600 meters). ? License-free and easy installation (PoE).
Point-to-Point Connectivity Up to 1 mile (~1600 m) depending on location and desired availability
60 GHz Point-to-Point Enterprise & Carrier Backhaul Solution LightPointe’s new 2013 60 GHz point-to-point radios now include our exclusive DualPath™ Always-On technology, for industry-leading reliability. The DualPath feature automatically selects the best frequency for the atmospheric conditions present, primarily operating in Gigabit capacity 60 GHz and, if necessary, switching to backup mode (a range of 5 GHz frequencies). This provides unparalleled performance and reliability advantages compared to competing solutions. If desired, the 60 GHz radio can also be connected to an alternative backup radio, such as a customer’s slower wireless bridge already in use; this upgrades the customer to GigE, protects their previous investment, and provides automatic backup! These radios are easy to install and license-free in most countries, and are ideal for point-to-point connectivity for businesses, schools and 4G/LTE small cell carrier applications. AireBeam 60 GHz data bridges are available in long distance (G60-DP-LX) and medium distance (G60-DP-MX, Z60-DP-MX) configurations.
Enterprise & Carrier Applications Fiber-like long distance building connectivity for schools, businesses, government buildings and hospitals—without trenching/installing fiber or the recurring costs of leased-line alternatives.
